Odin's mom Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Got my male Eclectus home today, my husband left at 3:30 this morning to go get him, got home just after noon. He's 9 yrs old and a sweet bird, doesn't seem bothered much by the change, my husband said he was really quiet the whole trip until he pulled in the driveway and he squawked. As soon as he handed the carrier to me and I set him down he said "hey" he talked up a storm for awhile. He's been climbing in and out of his cage and is eating well, he likes my "cooking", he dug right into his dinner. here is a picture
Jayd Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Beautiful.............................................
Luvparrots Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Congrats on your ekkie. What is his name?
Odin's mom Posted November 17, 2012 Author Posted November 17, 2012 His name is Greenie lol that's the name he came with... and they said he knows it and will say hi Greenie when you walk up to the cage. So far I've heard him say hey, hi, hello, pretty bird, good bird. And I guess he has some not nice words eating dinner, he's been on seed only for awhile, so he was liking the chop Greenie and Salty, they came from the same place, we got Salty last thursday
Ray P Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 The name fits. Goog looking boy Ekkie have fun.
judygram Posted November 17, 2012 Posted November 17, 2012 Greenie is aptly named, he is gorgeous and I love that candy corn beak, he looks to be settling in nicely into his new home, of course it helps that he has his former partner in crime Salty, looking forward to hearing more about the both of them.
