Ray P
How many birds do you have to have before its said you have MBS ? Do they need to be all one species or can they be mixed ? Do you think we need a forum Clinical Psychologist or Psychiatrist or just a Psychotherapist for treatment ? (grey forum insurance to cover cost of treatment). Or should we just try and live with this debilitating illness ? Should we set up a special support group to help us deal with this illness that has no cure ? OH hell , Just sit back and enjoy your fids.
Timbersmom
More than one = MBS. Sorry to tell you, but it's a fact You mean all the people who answer aren't psychotherapists? I'm crushed :\
Greywings
Good thing that most of our birds are therapeutic, some are soothing, some are artistic doing decorative wood carvings to cheer us up, some entertain us, some do minor surgery for us (removing skin issues, hangnails, scabs & moles ect.) and some seem to be trained to use those toenails for acupuncture. judygram
OH hell , Just sit back and enjoy your fids. That about sums it up Ray but it does seem that most of us have more than one bird and usually it is a different species for we like variety. Ray P
I think I am doomed. 1 grey, 1 zon, 2 cockatiels, peacocks, ducks and chickens along with all my outside bird feeders that hold 50 lbs. of bird seed each.
judygram
You are not doomed Ray, you are happy as a clam for those birds provide companionship, love, laughter and a reason to get out of bed in the mornings, you wouldn't have it any other way now would you. katana600
Oh dear, I thought I was on the edge of MBS the way I watch all the Amazon threads. Too late, with two parrots, I am already indoctrinated, I better start looking for the space for another cage.
Guest XxExoticPsychExX
Hey, if you guys are willing to be my guinea pigs, I'll be needing to practice my psychotherapy skills for grad school. Don't worry, I'm just as bad when it comes to animals. Our family has: 2 cats 2 dogs 1 cockatiel MY pets (in the same house): 1 CAG 3 dart frogs - 2 different species and I'm not done yet! Just wait until I move out
