FirstPenguin Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Great Pics. I love to see a full set of flight feathers. How long a lead do you keep? how do you manage if he takes off at all?
dhorje Posted October 12, 2012 Author Posted October 12, 2012 I always enjoy your photos! Thanks for posting. Thanks. awsome pics Thanks. Great Pics. I love to see a full set of flight feathers. How long a lead do you keep? how do you manage if he takes off at all? Thanks. The lead is 30m long, meant for outdoor flight. My grey doesn't simply take off. She has been outdoor trained for 4 years.
Ray P Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Ahhhh, Cocoa the photo Queen. She looks great. I was so happy to see you had a post when I came home today. I always look foward to your post and pictures.
kins2321@yahoo.com Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 dhorje..LOVE the pics! Don't take this wrong, but I haven't been able to tell what your bird is saying! I'm a firm believer in following " bird signs". His pupils are constricted, -- Nancy( a warning), his feathers are ruffled( I am happy), conflicting signals! Nancy
Ray P Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Cocoa pupils look fine. Daytime, Sunlight, They close to control light coming into eye. When its dark they open wide.
dhorje Posted October 13, 2012 Author Posted October 13, 2012 Cocoa always look forward to go outdoor. She enjoys every moment when she is out. If I don't take her out, she would say "no good". Sometimes I took her out to a nearby night market and she didn't show any sign of nervousness in crowd.

katana600 Posted October 14, 2012 Posted October 14, 2012 What a lucky pair you are to share companionship in such a beautiful setting. You do such a good job with your photograpy, and of course you have a beautiful subject. I love the contrast of the pink leash against the colors of nature including Cocoa's feathers. Thanks for the morning sigh of contentment. Well done.
aerial.2000 Posted October 20, 2012 Posted October 20, 2012 shew just just soooooo beautiful love your pics
