nevjoe
Laurie, You make your choice exciting to read. I have to let you know I have been making that sauce for over 20 years. I called it "Romano Bianco" most of my patrons called it "The pink sauce" The exciptment of Cream sauce blended with the boldness of Tomato sauce. It's great with Shrimp and Lobster When you order your next pizza from Cloverleaf Pizza, tell them to make you a white pizza (Fresh Ricotta cheese, shreeded Mozzarella cheese, and Romano cheese) with dabs (2" round)of pizza sauce on the top. If you need any info, just ask. Joe
Laurie
I can't believe I went my whole life adoring Italian food and only recently discovered "the pink sauce." That pizza idea sounds outstanding, I will have to try it!

Makena
Dan (this is a little late) but have you ever been to the hitching post in Casmalia? It is way better than McClintocks (in my opinion). You should check it out the next time you are heading out that way! There is also one in Buelton, but I don't think it is as good. http://www.hitchingpost1.com/ When we lived in SLO we used to head to Vandenberg to load up at the commissary... The Hitching Post or the Far Western (in Guadalupe) was always a fav stop!!! And if you ever head into SLO you have to go to Firestone's Grill for an ABC burger.... YUM!!! I am salivating over here! Ahhh how I miss the central coast!!!
