Ray P Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 Andrew Jackson had a foul mouth parrot named Poll. During the funeral ceremonies of the former president Poll was ejected from the room because he kept screaming obscenties at the mourners.

I found an exerpt in a book "Andrew Jackson and early Tennessee history by Samuel Gordon Heiskell, John Sevier" No wonder the parrot was cussing, they did a military gun salute, probably scared the bird right out of his feathers. Another google search said it was an African grey parrot. I am still looking for more information on it.
