cheebamaster
Thoughts? http://www.mysafebirdstore.com/product.cgi?group=5827&product=12024 I get him in about 6 weeks so I have plenty of time for shopping for various toys and accessories but this cage really stands out to me. Life is Greyt
Looks great to me. The bar spacing is good, and it looks big enough. Getting everything set up early helped me to quell some of my anxiousness over waiting for my girl to come home.
Greywings
You may not use the seed guards I find they are very hard on the shins and difficult to avoid. These clever birds will get food on the floor with or with out the seed guards.
Dave007
Many times, it's suggested that people first check out EBAY. They have excellent quality new cages made from the exact same material as above. They have hundreds of sizes and styles. There's no bidding involved. A major difference is price. Of course, many people find out about EBAY when it's too late. An Example----- http://www.ebay.com/itm/40-x31-x70-Large-Ladder-Parrot-Bird-Cage-Playtop-Deluxe-Black-Vein-Cages-/230740329626?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35b932049a

Wow I will have to do that...200$ difference for similar size/quality
Dave007
You sound shocked but the only difference is the name tag. Retail stores will cost a fortune. So many people here own cages from EBAY because they have multiple birds of difference sizes. my 3 greys each have an identicle cage, the only difference being color. I've had these cages for years. Back then, they were even cheaper on EBAY but inflation does exist. Check all the pages there. You'll see different design cages in the size you were looking at. Just make sure you click on BUY IT NOW. That means no bidding. The price yoou see is the price you'll pay.
judygram
Dave is right, those of us with multiple birds have to find cheaper ways to provide cages for our fids and ebay has provided a way.
cheebamaster
I actually really like the one you posted Dave. Will probably end up buying that one since I can't find anything bigger that is for such a great price. Thanks again!

Kimijean
I hope it's OK if I just stick this here instead of starting a whole new thread. But I have 2 of this cage empty (I bought 3 used at 3 different times through Craig's List). One will be my CAG's cage but I can eventually replace it if it's not really good enough. I paid $100 for 2 of them and only $50 for 1, so for $250 I got 3 cages, http://www.petco.com/product/114150/Petco-Designer-Mink-Brown-Standing-Parrot-Cage.aspx Kim
cheebamaster
Here is the link to the cage I bought...I was actually looking at the inside dimensions and am a bit worried that it's too small....I'm getting a CAG and he's gonna be a pretty big boy according to the store owner. http://www.ebay.com/itm/40-x31-x70-Large-Ladder-Parrot-Bird-Cage-Playtop-Deluxe-Black-Vein-Cages-/230740329626?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item35b932049a Inside dimensions: 31-2/5"W x 22"D x 37"H
