Number of zons

A question for the members of this forum.

I know many members have more than one african grey that live with them and that we have one member Shelly Yokum lives with a grey and two macaws.

My question is does any member have more than one amazon that lives with them and their grey or greys ?? And does anyone plan to add a zon to their flock ??

I am considering adding a zon to my flock that currently consists of just one grey.

Oh what an interesting question. My daughter and I were just saying today, "we have 2 horses, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 parakeets, 2 greys, and one amazon......but then again, Nilah is like having TWO!"

Two greys, one Tag and one Cag, and one Zon are enough for me. Unless one really, really, really and I mean really needs a home!!!

I will never have a zon, not that I wouldn't ever want one but I have 3 fids and that is enough for me, I enjoy hearing all about the zons we do have here so keep the stories coming.

Your zon may not like the competition of another zon. Mine is a total attention hog! Kiwi has to be anywhere I take my grey. He's just more needy. For me, it would be too hard to give a second zon attention because I can barely keep up with the ones I have!!

We have a CAG, a Panama Amazon, and a Quaker and they keep me busy and laughing. There will be no more additions.
