Toni
My b/f was talking aobut getting a bird for himself but yet Alcazar can have a friend. I told him its best to getone now since Alcazar is a baby. Am I correct on this? Please Let me know. I'll let him read the threads on this. Thanx
judygram
That is correct Toni, you should get just one for now, and then later get another one if you like. Otherwise they might bond to each other and not to you.

TalonSis
African grey! they are very smart, talkers. Sort of shy, as well. They usually bond to one person.. They need a lot of attention! Melissa

Guest
it's true though: i really like loud birds, can't get enough of them. although i once owned a cocktiel that was loud actually... but that was because of the place I live at, near a highway that's so loud the poor bird started to get identity problems and became stressed which resulted in shrieking 24/7. so, for his and our own sake I had to find him a home that was less noisy... I heard he's doing great now though (this all happened quite a few years ago)
