Tari
My husband is not crazy about my other birds but when I got my budgies he commented after having them a few days "Why can't you just have these and not keep the others" lol He loves watching them and he really likes them as an alarm clock. When the light come on at 7am they start to chatter and he thinks that is the best alarm clock. lol

Toni
I love the whitish budgie so pretty in color. I had a finch like that named Tootie. They make such a cute peeping sound
Guest briansmum
i'm trying to talk my other half into letting me have the budgies. i think he would enjoy them because brian doesn't like him and budgies are a bit easier going, and i'd like him to have something he could appreciate too. Tari
Get a pair they are much more fun that way. Little harder to tame if you plan to tame but so much more fun to watch and a lot more chirping going on.
judygram
Aww Beccy, have you not learned anything, you don't talk your spouse into anything, you just do, if I had to talk my hubby into things for me I would have nothing. If you want them, then get them, he can learn to like them or leave them alone. I have been married for nearly 40 years and we did not get this far by my having to ask permission for things, I just do it. Thanks, Tari for sharing these photos with us, I love the budgies too and Pepper is a cutie. Percysmum
Pepper is gorgeous. Great markings. I'm with the others beccy. There are a number of times I've turned to my hubby fluttered the eyelashes and said "but I had to, it made me". Yes he goes off in a grump for a little while but gets over it. I figure if it's not putting your family at risk financially, socially or emotionally go for it.
Talon
Tari, these are little darlings. I'm happy you shared them, I was wondering when I would get to see them!!! Beccy, never ask for anything, as Judy says, JUST DO IT! They get over it quick enough, and eventually learn to just shake their head and walk away. If you don't train him right. and do it now, you'll have trouble later....... :pinch: :silly: :side:
