JackTheTurkishGrey Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Hi everyone in every piece of info i read on greys it says they vocalize 2 times a day in the sunrise and the sunset. Mine is different. Jack starts vocalizing when i wake up and stops when i go to sleep. He gives short breaks but most of time when i am in the same room with him he is vocal. In our summer home he was outside during the day and again he was starting in the sunset and stopped at sundown. Is being vocal all the time normal? 1
she Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 All greys are individual. some more vocal than others. I would say Jack is behaving quite normal.
Luvparrots Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Ana Grey has no set schedule for talking. Some days she says nothing all day. Some days she wakes me up very early saying every word or phrase she knows. It all depends on her mood or who is around.
Azzie Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 As She said, they are all different. Some are very vocal, others are quiet. The one thing to take note of is a sudden change or decline in vocalisation, as this may indicate your bird isn't feeling so well. 1
