DarinKing
I took my CAG to the VET just after 5 months old. We found out today it is a girl. So we are changing the name from Pedro to Pedra
judygram
Well congrats on having a girl instead of a boy, but she is still the same bird, and I like that name too.

nevjoe
Your lucky finding out now and not later. If you tried to mate with another female it would be gay. LOL Joe
Critterstuff
My CAG, Rocky, turned out by dna testing at over one year old to be a girl, after calling 'her' a 'he'and 'she' a 'him'...:>) for almost a year! Now Rocky is Rocki, and now that I know she is a girl, I see sweetness I never saw before. I'm glad she is a she. Critterstuff

danmcq
Your right Toni, if you want to know the sex, DNA is the most accurate way :-) Many breeders, if you purchase from them, will have it done for you for a small fee $20. If you request it.
Guest
I like Pedra. It's an unusual name. I like unusual names  Anyway, now you don't have to worry if your bird doesn't behave macho
