Debandbella Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 Last night we found an African grey parrot and are keeping it in a cage until the owner comes. If anyone knows something about this please let me know. It is in Berkeley springs, west Virginia right now
judygram Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 Oh that is in my back yard, I hope the owner is found for they must be beside themselves with grief.
Debandbella Posted May 29, 2010 Author Posted May 29, 2010 Thats why i posted it on here as theres a lot of people from over the pond here. The person who has him has just joined a forum purely because of him so not sure if they have birds or not but they do have him in a cage at the moment.
JillyBeanz Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 That's brilliant that the person who has him has joined your forum Debbie - they must be very caring people as they are trying to trace the owner. Hopefully the owner will be found soon.
kittykittykitty Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 Yes, the parront must be beside himself with worry and grief! I hope he is a member of this forum and knows to look here.
kittykittykitty Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 How sad, when so many birds are lost and then one found but not find the parront.
tarm Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 If he ends up needing a permanent home I may be interested. I have been looking for a Grey to adopt for a couple months now. I live right down the road 10 miles from Berkley Springs in Cross Junction Va off 522. Let me know and I will give you my phone contact info etc...
Debandbella Posted August 11, 2010 Author Posted August 11, 2010 I never heard anything again, i cross posted it from another forum, 99% of cases never come back to tell us the outcome and this was one of them.
