judygram
Yes it is normal for them to be a little nervous and be shaking a little, their chest area will look like he is shivering, you are new to him so expect him to be a little scared. I know you are so excited about bringing him home soon.
Luvparrots
I didn't meet my grey until I picked her up. She came right to me and hung on the front of her cage all the way home. Chirping up a storm. They are all different. It's great that by the end of your visit your new baby was more comfortable with you. By the time you bring him home he will know you well. If you get a chance to take some pictures, we would love to see them!
Tycos_mom
How old is your baby I wouldn't worry to much about him being a little nervous. You are very New to him try and visit him allot before you bring him home that way he will get to know you and then when you do bring him home you will be familiar to him and it will help him to settle in to his new home much easier than he will if he only met you ovce. Please keep the updates coming and some pictures would be nice
raleej337
congratulations! we've just have our first grey last monday and the experience of bringing our grey home is one of the most exciting thing for us. the day we picked him up is the first time we saw him, no regrets that we choose him, anyway when we saw him at the breeders house he's so eager to get out of his cage and once out he let me scratch his head (though he's a bit apprehensive). i'm sure you'll gonna enjoy having your grey in your place. if you have any concerns just ask the people here, they'll share their experiences and will advice you. officialmark
hey he's is 11 weeks old and i will be picking him up when he is 13 weeks i saw him this weekend and going to see him next weekend then hes coming home the weekend after that! he let me touch his wings, belly, head etc. he was nibbling on my finger is that usual for a baby bird to feel you since it cant really with its feet? at one point it hurt but most of the time it was a gentle nibble if that makes sense
