charlie boy

he is 1 on the 15th of august ... my birthday is the 14th so celebration

well if you guessed this is charlies first word and does he love it at the moment haha he picked it up clearly about 4 weeks ago but has been practicing non stop since its even more funny when the kids come home from school and he has been sat quiet for a hour or so. as soon as he hears them come charging up the drive & even before they get in the door... its HELLO HELLO HELLO loud and in 4 or 5 different tones haha its great to hear him start talking, but to be fair he is just the same talking or not to us so what was your grey first word ??

haha he probably will as it was back again the other day when he was outside but only it was sat on next doors security light, i think this is going to be regular thing with them, he loves it outside now

charlie loves a fly around our front room, he unfortunatly had a few crashes/bad landings when we first got him but he has mastered it now i think/hope lol

poor little thing..

well for the first time this year we had a nice sunny day saturday just gone, so i wheeled charlies cage out in to the garden he loved it after he first figured out why his toys and mirror were moving on there own with the bit of wind haha it was warm enough yesterday aswell so out he comes while i was sorting out my veg garden deciding on GREY only veggies this year lol. well we have a wood pidgeon that nests on top of our security light which is directly above where i stand charlies cage, well charlie spotted it and the pidgeon spotted charlie and for an hour or so they were just making noises to each other haha it was quite funny to watch as the pidgeon got closer landing on the shed whilst making his/her sound then charlie whistling back and clicking at it, i go inside to do something and low and behold when i come back out there are now 2 wood pidgeons lol he quickly makes friends out the garden :cool: and i could of swore he tried to say something yesterday when he was in the garden :confused: the mrs was hanging out the washing at the end of the garden and he said something what caught her attention lol, i never quite heard it but the mrs was sure he said something well fingers crossed we get alot more sun as its raining today

hi sorry if the title looks daft lol... basically charlies beak over the last couple of days seems to be receading/cracking at the tip (the sharp bit ) thats the only way i can explain it.. its as if it were a new beak growing under the old one and looking like its pushing up/out like a childs new tooth pushing the baby tooth out.. i dont really know any other way to explain it, i hope someone knows what im going on about lol :confused: i can try to get a close up picture of his beak if needed, im just looking for reasurrance really .. thnx in advance for any help, i really appreciate it
