  1. It's great to hear everyone's opinion! I have decided not to move my guys cage into the living room. Like Katana600 stated, my grey does spend a lot of time on his Java tree when I bring him into the living room, and he is totally comfortable. The cage is in the bird room and its nice and quiet for sleeping at night, so that way if I wanted to stay up late and watch TV, I won't be keeping my guy up! LOL
  2. WOW! Thanks for your comment "luvparrots". I will try it out and let you know how it goes.
  3. Hi friends: I am newbie with the forum and absolutely Love It! I read a post from a year or two ago about misting your bird with 100% Aloe Vera juice. Has anyone try using this? What results have you experienced? My CAG doesn't really like to shower, but will tolerate misting from the spray bottle. Maybe I will try the juice and see how it goes?
  4. Ha-Ha-Ha Greywings! "Taznut" I LOVE IT !!! ~
  5. I second what everyone else is saying. I have just adopted a 3 year old CAG and he is a little nippy as well. But, it could be that he is testing me since i am a new owner. I was told though that they the young one can be nippy or have the desire to bite. Its our job to work with them and correct this behaviour before it gets out of control. Hang in there and keep the faith my friend!
  6. Hi Nancy: Thanks for your comment. I think for now I will keep his cage in whats known as "His Bird Room". Its quiet in there for a good night sleep and during the day I will leave the radio on for him. Thanks again.
  7. Thanks Dave for the Photobucket suggestion... AND the good thing about it is that it is very easy to use! Thanks again
  8. Hello: I am new to the Grey family and have a question about whether to move my greys cage or not. I was thinking to move his cage into the living room so that he would have the dogs as company during the day while I'm at work. That may be a silly reason, but currently right now, his cage is in another room away from the living room and it is very quiet in the room, although I leave the radio on for him. I do bring him out into the living room when I get home and he sits nicely on his Java tree. Does it matter where his cage is? Please share your suggestions. Thanks!
  9. Thanks for the warm "Welcome". I will try to figure out Photobucket so I can post pictures, but I must admit I'm not very computer savvy. Talk to you soon!!
  10. Hello friends: Just introducing me and my CAG. My name is Tori and I just adopted a 3 year old Male CAG. His name is Peanut. The previous family thought of the name because he is a NUT, although to me, he looks more like a Taz. I would think he could adapt to a new name, don't you think? Anyways, looking forward in making new friends and sharing stories. Also, I posted a picture, but it loaded upside down. Will I be able to upload one correctly when using my iPad? Bye for now:o
