  1. I will but will probably not be until at least Monday, and even then may be a few days before I can get him in..
  2. Shikoba is fine, and hasnt been doing that at all today, he only does it once every few days.
  3. Well as no vets offices were open today, I did talk to a lady who breeds CAGS, and she thought it was from being handfed, and young, she said they will do this sometimes, even for awhile after being weaned. She said she thinks he is just wanting someone to feed him. And if I do remember when we got our baby Senegal from the petstore, and she was doing something similar to this, and the guy in the petstore said it was from being handfed, and expecting food...Any ideas on this?
  4. Recently our grey started doing this, almost like a cross between a yawn and almost like throwing up, but he never throws up. Just wondering if anyone had ever seen this before in their greys, and could give me a clue as to what might be going on? I have thought of everything from some kind of sickness, to some type of hormonal thing. Also he doesnt do it all the time, just every 4-5 days, and he never does it when I am interacting with him, only my wife, who is in the video, or if he is on the playtop to his cage..Thanks in advance for any help!
  5. The CAG is 8, almost 9 months, the RLA is seven yrs, and the Sennie about 4 yrs.
  6. This is an older thread I see, but thought you might enjoy seeing my Red Lored. I will call it a "him" but I am really not sure. I was told though that he is seven yrs old.
  7. Hello all, my name is Lonnie, and I just signed up for this forum over the weekend. I got my first CAG this weekend too, and I would have to say that the AG has been my dream bird for some time now, however I am not new to birds, growing up we had parakeets, and cockatiels. Then when I got married my wife and I bought a Senegal, and then in early November we got a Red Lored Amazon, and now the Congo African Grey, but just wanted to introduce myself, and tell you a little about me, and my fids. I will post some pictures soon in the picture section.
