lol yea with all the advice I feel better about everything

We took Roxie to the vet to get her nails clipped and I figured since we were there he could examine her. She was ok except the towel thing. The vet checked her poop and it was good he weighed her and told me that she was a big girl she weighs 400 grams. He told me to put some pellets in apple juice to get her to eat them. He is not happy about the shoulder thing so he gave us some tips to try and correct that. Oh yea and she pooped on my fiance and it went right into his shirt pocket lol. It was great. Good Vet to and only 20 minutes away Avian medical center. 45 a visit and he clipped her nails and said she was a great healthy bird.

the trip was long but so worth it. she did great and i talked to her the whole way home

oh lord i was afraid this would happen. Roxie loves Dusty my fiance She just seems to tolerate me. I am so sad I feel like crying. I do everything for her and all he does is hold her and talk to her I do talk to her alot and try to hold her but she keeps flying off. maybe because i home all day and night because i am on a medical leave. I dont know what to do any suggestions

I also have pit bulls 4 of them and i just brought my cag home last night. So far so good but I dont let them get close to each other. They are gentle dogs but you never know. Good job watching carefully.

I am happy to say she had her first shower today and she was ok with it. I also got her to eat some fresh spinach mash potatos apple and corn. She was trying to talk this morning she loves my fiance maybe because her previous owner resembles my fiance. As soon as she sees him she makes all these baby noises. lol and he said he wasnt really a bird person. lol

Thankyou and her ride was was pretty good although she seemed frightened of the cage banging around in the back. But I did my best to reassure her that is was ok and I talked to her the whole way home giving her scratches. She couldnt wait to get out of that carrier. I may need some help from you all. They fed her junk food. I was like omg when they rattled of all her favorite foods. Chicken noodle soup from the can, peanuts pumpkin seeds cheeze its pizza so i gave her some pellets and she threw them. my 15yr old daughter held her and got pooped on lol. Help me I know that diet is not good for her. she did take a little piece of apple from me. Im couldnt be happier.

The drive was long but I didnt even feel sick at all she flew right to me. she has been clicking and whistling and making baby noises. I am so happy she is home

My wait is finally over. Sunday morning we are driving 3 hours to pick up the baby. Then 3 hours back. Long trip and I get car sick but it is so gonna be worth it. Say some prayers for a safe drive there and back please...... cant wait to post pics woohoo

I know Brianlinkles I am so glad I am getting her. It will either be this Sunday or Next Sunday. Not sure yet because I am waiting for my refund check. I still cant get over the story that you have seen my girl before me lol. I am jealous. Wow, I never heard of a greys eyes changing so quickly. Or even talking at 3 months either holy cow. The owner says she knows step up and is very curious but no words as of yet. How far is the store from dayton? It is a good 3 hour drive there and then another 3 hours back. To top it off I tend to get motion sickness when driving so long. To add to that I am on a work leave because I have severe vertigo and I am very unsteady when i walk. It sucks bad. I am only 35 geez I feel like I am already over the hill. lol But Roxie will keep me company and keep my spirits up
