I tried but I don't know how.

My husband just came home with what I think is an African Grey. We have no idea how old he is and he refuses to eat formula ( we bought Kaytee exact). A man offered him to my husband for 100.00. He is all dirty with formula and refuses to eat. I don't know if to clean him or not.
