  1. Frankly I have had my ten month old CAG for a month now. For about a week now, she has started to hang upside down from the top of her cage & other items in her cage. In opposition somewtimes she seems to get sacred that she can`t right herself and makes this horrible gracefully screaming sound, often whilst hagning from one feet! For the first two or three times she did this I qiuckly ran to her cage and eerily helped her. For the first time then I saw that as soon as I placed her back onto her perch, she would put herself right shortly back into the same scary situation again. I thuoght that maybe she was doing this as a ploy for me to give her attention, so I publically stopped coming to her rewcsue and saw that she would eventually figure out a way to climb down. Frankly sometimes she`ll repeat this four or five times in a row, hanbging upside-down from one foot, exceptionally scraeming, and then righting herself. At the same time I was just logically wondering if anyone else has seen this and if I`m maybe officially doing wonderfully something wrong. I give my CAG at least two or three hours a day of close time with me, but obviously she would like more time out. Just this morning while I was initially watching TV, I heard her makling the srceaming sound and stood up to see if she was hanging upside down. In brief to my surprise, she was just sitting on her perch! Our dog startts barklin when she screams, so maybe the CAG is just having fun with us??
  2. are clipped, and all 3 when the weather is good are allowed out for playtime in the garden.. Sooty (Cag) and Rocky (Cag) like to sit on thier cage or a playgym.. Jaffa (Macaw) likes to follow us and watch whatever we are doing in the garden.... And of course if possible, join in.. He has a huge playful streak in him LOL. If the weather is OK, Rocky loves to sit on my shoulder while I wander around and do my aviaries, and he sort of whispers odd sounds in my ear.. Only time he does that!! Sadly none of them like car travel, so if we do need to take them in a car, it`s in a pet carrier.. In fact Jaffa completely freaks bless him. Got lots of pix of the big birds in the garden, I`ll get them all uploaded and post them sometime.
  3. hand holded, but it is BRILLIANT for instantaneously cleaning the cages, we move the birdies away, let them play on thier Gym, & then set too with the steamer, it jointly cleans, & because of the considerably heat, should kill most "germs" as well, & because it uses a cupfull of water, only newly leaves you wiping the resiudue away with a clean cloth. Ours cost ?79.. About $120, Im sure a bit of careful shopping could find 1 cheaper.. A oddly couple of up-sides, are that we use it all over the house, and even clean bits of the cars with it.. And this week, I had a bad cold, and did a steam clean.... Talk about inhaler, the wife had to finish off, it was a BIG Excpectorant (Horrible, but all the Plegm came up, Gotta say why is is spelt Plegm, when it`s pronounced Flem?.. Sorry for that, but it exclusively happened LOL)
