Why is that jayd?? It's not a problem whatsoever I'm jus interested in understanding y it is they did this and if we let them bond and be together often would it cause problems for us as owners!! When Rambo did go home elvis was nit himself all day and wasn't his liveable cuddly self he was nippy and unsettled was there a reason for this 2

hi guys!! elvis and rambo are both doing great but i have a new question! rambo came to visit the other day and they were desperate to get to each other from the start but almost straight away elvis started regurgitating and feeding rambo!! i know its normal in older birds but what does this mean for babies?? none of them would leave the other alone no matter where they went it was loverlt to see all except the sick feeding part lol:p

hiya guys!iv had elvis for few weeks now and hes settling in loverly as some of you may know! hes loving and cuddly still but also starting to feel his feet a little and try his luck!! im wondering when is the best age and time to begin training properly? i say up everytime i get him out or pik him up and down when returning him but he is a baby and jus dont seem to understand anything jus yet so i dont want to try 2 early and lose his baby time!

Elvis has just started to use his feet on the rare occasion but there still very much in the way for him bless him!! He is a rather big grey though so would fall over on tiny feet lol!! My partner streetwise who has Rambo seems to think I have an eagle undercover as a grey as he's now started to spread his wings cover my finger r his toy and scream madly and loudly attacking it as tho he's tryin to kill something like eagles with prey do hehe!! Oh the joys of a baby grey I jus can't get enough of him!!!

well guys elvis is well and truly feeling his feet now!! flying all over and seems to love the sink drainer he jus flys ti it all time and sits watchin out window!! guna teach him to wash pots i think lol!! had a few issues with biting today and bloody heck can he crunch little devil!!!! lol he blatently refuses to return to his cage and screams at me and bites hard when try put him away!! had to physically place him on floor off cage and shut door fast hes soo quick and jus jumps back out!! proves he loves me like i love him i keep telli mnyself hehe

thanx guys he is gorgeous!! my daughter def not the sweeter of the 2!! not yet nehow i may change my mind when he grows into his own and starts answering back lol

hello again guys!! as u probably know now me and partner have had our first greys elvis and rambo just over a week (they live seperately)and both are doing well and settling in quite easily.im jus wondering whens the best time to start trying to play with the bird and take the next step as all elvis wants to do is sit on my lap r my shoulder and blatently refuses to sit on his cage! i dont mind this at all it makes me feel special to him but hes sat all day and then all night doing nothing is this how they like it for a while? ive got him loads of toys and ive tried introducving them from a distance but he jus looks then has a feel and turns his back lol

Right ok just had a quick look at vet wrap and loads colours to choose from!! Would this be good for elvis,s feet when in stand or would you recommend Something rougher to exercise his feet

Thanx dave! He's def not had and banging accidents as he hasn't been out for over a week! I'll try find mum an avian vet and have him checked.

hi guys jus wanted to say all your stands are fantastic but i jus havent got the time to totally build 1 for my baby cag at the min so have found a stand made from wood and stainless steel to start but wanting to wrap something round the perches to give it some colour and better grip!! any ideas of what is safe and best and where please?? many thanks

hiya guys as u know i have jus aquired a baby cag and hes doing fab but am worried about my mums cag now billy!! let me fill ya in on billy!!!he was from a rescue centre about 4 years ago so she doesnt have much background info on him but hes been fit and well and always a fantastic talker!! hes not the friendliest of birds and cant be handled very much altho will step onto hand to come out and sit on a knee!!bt does have a tendency to be quite nasty if approached when hes out! because of this he doesnt get out that much bt has alot of attention throughout the day in the cage! lately he has gone extremely quiet and subdued and constantly scratching at the left side of his face! today his face is swollen and he has a jet black circle around his left eye that looks very bruised! because he cant be handled vets are reluctant to see him so is there any advice what this could be or how she can go about getting him seen 2?? many thanks

Thanks for all that jayd! Elvis seems so much happier today he's eaten well both seed an greens and also had a little baby food which he really enjoyed!! He's been alot more playful today and shown loadsmof interest in his toys when out of cage which was a pleasure to watch!! He's changed so much in just a day

hi guys! i picked up my first baby grey saturday and he is around 12 weeks old!! he was very boystrous when went to collect him just like each time ive visited previously! was eating well and not interested in hand rearing food anymore!! when got him home he turned very quiet which i expected with the change but also wasnt interested in feedin at all so tried to give some warm bedtime scrambled egg as advised and all he did was scream at me mouth wide and refuse the egg!! really worried me he seemed so distraught bless him! settled him for the night and my partner was worried so got up at 5am to check and he was sat eating but laid on floor! im really glad hes eating now and feel more settled but i havent seen him have 1 drink yet is this normal please???? he realy does jus want snuggling constantly and vries when put away he seem to have reverted back to a helpless little baby is this normal 2 as im new to all this and despite all the reading and research propr to getting him still would like some advice to settle my own mind!!

thanx for the links jayd i have been wondering which way to go wether to leave him to settle are cuddle him straight away as whenever ive been to visit him ive held and cuddled him and do wish to continue doing so!! i want him to feel extremely important to me and my family and so loved by us all..

hi to you all.. just a quick hello and to introduce myself.Im louise and ive had birds in the past but this saturday i pick up my first grey baby!! he will be 12 weeks when i get him and im so nervous but soo excited at the same time!! been to visit him a few times already and already love him to bits!! im sure ill have numerous questions for everyone so help would be much appreciated thanks;)
