Harvey is Fab and simply stunning!! yep how we modernise our homes, I went from carpet to laminate and tiles, material sofa to leather sofa, wallpaper to skimmed and painted walls my door frames now done plastic corner edging along the top to stop the chewing and now he happily ignores them and when he is out we have allsorts of weird stuff he doesnt like hanging of every orofice we dont want him to eat, your not far from me actually. i'm in tyne and wear.

what does she do if you offer her a treat to step up? does she still refuse? Does she try to peck your hand if your trying to get ger to step up without a treat or does she just ignore your hand, also how old is she, my Oz did this for a while as he entered the kevin and perry stage this lasted a few weeks and he still does it occassionally now but usually when he simply doesnt want to come out of his cage he just turns his back on me if he cant be bothered and blows a raspberry!

I third this, cant beat aloe, completely natural, completely safe and completely does the job, I noticed such a difference in Oz too been using it for several years now and when I had to go into hospital 2 years ago for several weeks, no one used it, he plucked a little and looked like ragamiffin joe when I eventually got home, took a while for him to get back to normal but wow what a difference was noticed esp seeing him go from extremely scruffy looking to a bobbie dazzler as when I first used it he looked fine so results although were excellent couldnt be seen as much iyswim.

Ozzie and I are just new to the forum but we hope to be around for a loooooong time:p I really Hope its ok to ask (but please remove if not) Ozzie is in a Britains pets got talent competition, at the moment he is leading but is currently being threatened by a hamster erm climbing the stairs, (lovely little hamster but all hamsters can do that) I would love to show the UK how talented these Birds are and need all the help I can to help him win, so far the competition has been fraught with cheats and luckily the promoters are keeping an eye on things, some people have been really nasty too (obviously not grey owners;) as we are all caring people) anyway he needs a quick vote if anyone can spare 2 seconds please, its 1 vote per person and last day for voting is this friday (11 june midnight uk time) this is the link. votehereplease if this is not allowed ort I am too new please feel free to move , I wont be offended :cool: if I can ever return the favour also, please let me know, many many thanks Ali n Oz x

my grey can whip an earing out so fast and perfectly (then hide it in his beak like he never did it) that it leaves the back still stuck to your ear:D

aww thanks guys and thanks for your votes too, although I must apologise about things getting nasty over there:eek:, just had a look and I think another entry is trying to sabotage mine:mad: have emailed them to sort it out:confused: I love grey stories, ozzie is a right little rip and a cheeky one too, do we have a place for stories? I need to familiarise myself with everywhere lol, going to get toddler off to bed and then I can indulge:p

Its About time I got round to joining a grey forum and this seems to be the one:cool:. I have been around greys since I was 5 years old and was completely captivated by them then, I have studied them like mad and now at 40 I have had my own greys, Bert who was both mums and I's sadly died at the age of 24, and Ozzie who is almost 8 going strong :DI cant think of a better companion to have (they beat men hands down anyday lol), their intelligence is outstanding and Ozzie is a proper member of our family so just wanted to say hi:) you can see ozzie n me HERE dont worry I'm not asking for votes (although you can if you want to lol and its allowed;)) hoping to join in with like minded people:cool:
