well, milo sits beside the pc with me most times so was thinking of getting her some hanging toys, i have bought a hanging basket bracket & gonna fix it to side of computer table & hang some stuff from it, save her chewing on my mouse cable & new monitor, what do you think ?? good idea or not ?? will up some pics once i get it done !

well m8 my heart goes out to you, the same happened to me last week,& i felt exactly the same way you do now! i was mortified & i know exactly how you feel, call the local radio station they might put it out over the air, anyway hope you find him & please please keep us updated

well baa waa mines 12 weeks now & refuses her formula point blank ! shes eating her mash, pellets & fruit no problem, she sometimes cries & crouches down when i put the plate of mash down for her because she wants me to feed it to her, but if i just step away she looks at me then scoffs the lot , as for water she isnt a big drinker, i see her drinking in the morning out of her cup while im re filling it & have seen her once or twice drink in the cage so she knows where it is , so no worries there !

i make my own mash for mine, that way i know shes getting her veg, she loves it, i just knock up a batch, freeze it in ice cube trays, then pop them out 20 seconds in micro & there done, i always say to her ," i want some mash" when im taking her to it , hopefully she will tell me when she wants some once she can talk !! well thats the idea anyway lol, as for fruit thats in her feeder, in the other feeder is kaytee chunky pellets, she eats everything no problem at all, i decided to just feed her everything while she was young (only 12 weeks at the moment) , my thinking was if i do this now she wont be a fussy eater when older, dunno if it will work though !!!

sweet potato, broccoli, peas, carrot, & corn, thats this batch, prob do something else in the next batch sweet potato, squash, etc , she loves it & i know shes getting her veggies in the morning as the plates clean , she dont even look up

i have noticed in the off topic section posts relating to computer help, how do i post pics, attatch files etc , i was wondering if it would be of any help having a dedicated section for computer problems ? if i could help i would & im sure others would help also, now im no computer genius by a long shot but i am admin on other forums, also mod, & in the process of starting a new forum for gamers ( although i dont play ) , music, movies etc & have a dedicated server with a m8 in france running on ubuntu , just a thought as some peoples computer knowledge is limited due to work etc, i dont just mean problems with the forum i mean in general, anyway just a thought !!

well milo is now 12 weeks old, we got her at 8 & i finished off the weaning, no problems there, she is now off the formula all together, just point blank refuses it , so now in the morning she has her mash, 3 ice cube sized blocks containing, sweet potato, broccoli, peas, carrot, & corn, she absolutley loves it & clears her plate no problem !!, , well overall with milo she is a pleasure to live with , i absolutley love this bird, she has character by the bucket loads, everyone that has visited has handled her without problem, she gets on great with the dog, we all know about her little escapade out side but i have calmed down a bit now !, she comes out no problem & comes to me when called, she sits & chatters all day long making the funniest noises & when i ask wheres luka? she whistles my whistle & runs to the front of the cage & tilts her head waiting for him to come in , so now she is a congo african grey, not a featherless baby !!she has never shown any aggression at all to me or my wife/grand children etc but she is still young with a long way to go !she is on a propper diet now, like i said above she has her veg mash in the morning, in her feeders are kaytee chunky pellets, in her other dish is her fruit & veg, this varies, she has pomegranate, bananna coins,mango,apple, monkey nuts ( which are more of a toy than a food !! )pistachio nuts, grapes, melon, grated carrot, tomato, almonds, all vairied day to day,& she eats no problem, i cant believe the transformation of this bird since i first seen her!! she seems to have come on leaps & bounds! for a start i couldnt believe a grey could fly so high & fast & far at 10 weeks lol but the less said about that the better !!!! anyway just thought i would post this to let you know her progress,i am glad i joined this forum as there are a lot of people with great advice! ( this is my first grey, but if you want to know anything about boxer dogs drop me a line as i have owned, bred, showed them for 20 odd yrs , although dont breed anymore) i have included a pic of her at the stages of her life so far, the 1st pic is when we 1st seen her, the 2nd is when we brought her home at 8 weeks & the 3rd is now at 12 weeks !! she has grown fast !!!

well after my little scenario the other day with milo i would be lying if i didnt think that the 1st thing if i get her back is to get her clipped! calmed down a bit now but still unsure what to do , i would hate to go through that again !!!, i love that bird !!

tagurit, mine at the moment is only 11 weeks old, eating pellets & fruit, not thet keen on veg at the min tho, she loves pommegranites lol, but i just let her get on with it, there is always a lot of choice for her , i dont want her being fussy later !!
