  1. No I think that a different independant company makes it, but I do feed Echo Zupreem as well. She is a 'dunker' too! Makes for very frequent water changes!
  2. We don't cover her, but the days here are getting really short. Around 7pm we turn of the lights and shut the door to her 'room' and she doesn't get woken until 7am, and then the natural light is just barely starting (we live in WI, so the days are getting very short).
  3. Honestly it seems like she has been like this all the time recently, at least in the past six months. I am happy that she isn't biting me, but a little frustrated that all she wants to do is hunker down and make that noise. I try to discourage her from beaking my fingers, because that seems to set it off. I don't pet her anywhere but her head. I hope this passes soon.
  4. Good job you quitters! I quit 5 years ago, haven't touched a smoke since. I used Allen Carr's Easy Way book. Best of luck!
  5. What do you guys think of this food? Echo LOVES it, but it's a little pricey. Of course she is worth it. Does anyone else use it? I give this to her in addition to her zupreem pellets and fresh fruits/veggies, etc.
  6. Echo loves the fruit blend as well, and she does the same thing. One day she hates the yellow ones, the next green! Too funny.
  7. Thanks! I'm so glad I found these forums
  8. Oh no. Is it seasonal or is it all the time??
  9. Our 5 year old female CAG, Echo, recently started this odd behavior with me. When ever I go to handle her, or even get near her cage, she kind of hunker downs and makes this 'uh uh uh' noise. She also acts as if she is going to regurgitate (but doesn't) and tries to grab my finger. I keep walking away from her to discourage this, but it doesn't seem to matter. It's very frustrating as I can't do anything with her, because this is all she wants to do now. We were doing some clicker training and such, but she's too distracted with this to do anything. What can I do?
  10. Hi There! I just found this forum and wanted to say 'hello'. A bit about me: I am the veterinary practice manager at a small clinic in WI, I have tech experience, but we no longer see exotics. I am happily married and only have fur and feather children . We currently have: Echo - our 5 and 1/2 year old female CAG Jack - our 4 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Flip - 7 month old standard poodle puppy So hello everyone I included a (bad) photo of my Echo Preencess.
  11. Where is a good place to buy such a light, if I may ask? Thanks in advance!
