Hope you'll find Ceasar back soon. Let's not loose hope, anyway it is ok to hope but not expect.

I wish my grey eat Harrisons but he really doesn't want to. As long as he eats his pellets and looks his healthy then we'll stick to that diet, anyway he loves his vegies and fruits. I am not giving him any seeds yet, I'll wait till its maybe 6 months to a year before I will introduce the seeds to his diet again.

I don't allow my birds (the grey and cockatiel)on my shoulder. As of now I'm still training our grey Simon to just stay on the fingers when we have him.

my 4 month old CAG does the same to me, I was thinking of salt too but not really sure. I suppossed to post my question but opt to search the forum for same question first.

I thought I'm the only person experiencing the same thing. Hope this will be fixed because I hate scrolling down first then go up as I read.

Hi Andre and welcome to the forum. You can learn a lot about your grey here, read other peoples posts or ask questions. Sometimes we are afraid to ask questions, don't worry there are no wrong or silly questions.

very sweet girl!

Simon our grey made his decision, he'll eat zupreem fruit blends. For the past 3 days since the switch he'll only eat zupreem and leave the roudybush in the bowl. I don't want to stress him by pushing the pellets he don't want to eat, so we'll settle for whatever he likes.

this is a very hot topic. from what i've heard (read too), most hobbyist favor the unclipped wing but most breeders i know favor clipping the birds wings. well i've got mine clipped and the breeder explained to me his reason on clipping the birds wings. both sides i believe have their points (good and bad). well i know some avian vets that highly reccommend wing clippings. my cockatiels have their wings clipped but my canary is flighted (well canaries need to fly very often and hop). at the moment im in between, once my greys wings grows ill try not to have it clipped but if after that i see more dangers rthen i might have his wings clipped again. but for sure i wanted to see him with his full wings.

Hi there and welcome! Don't hesitate to ask questions whether it sounds silly or non-sense, who knows those questions are really important. Good luck!

you can try Pet Club for a cheap toys, same products that Pet Smart and Petco sells for less price. I'm not too sure if they have a branch in Sanfo but they have one in Daly City, a short drive from Sanfo.

So sorry to hear that. I know how it feels loosing a pet. I can still remember the feelings when I lost my dog 15 years ago. The pain will go away but missing them won't. But be strong, there are always good reasons why we have to suffer such losts.

Hi Jess welcome to the forum! I know how does it feel being a first time owner of the beautiful grey parrot. I've only have my grey for almost a week now. One thing I can tell you is please make sure that the bird is fully weaned when you bring him/her home. Leave the handfeeding to the experts. I too have a cockatiel, a male WF Cinnamon Pearl Pied, very sweet. Not as messy as the grey. Well I both love my birds, they're not just a pet instead a member of our family.
