Hello, some of you have seen pics of my new baby grey in the Photography Room. I do not yet know the sex and have no names picked out yet. I do like to read the post to find names of everyone elses Greys. They are all interesting and beautiful names. (I am not trying to "steal" anyones names!! :whistle: lol) Anyway, I thought it would be neat if everyone posted the names of their Greys,(or other birds or pets) just to get some ideas. Even some name suggestions that were thought of but you went with something different instead! Also, you can post why you chose that name! I look forward to reading them. :cheer:

Thank you all for the comments! I have had so much fun with my baby since I got "it". He/she is so active & nosey! Always looking around and "talking". Eats well and is just an all around joy! :lol: I put water in a plastic top(from a butter container) to see if he would play in it, well he doesn't but he DOES drink from it!! Its so cute to watch!! Heres a pic...

I paid $600 for my CAG baby. He/she is only 5 weeks old. I know the breeder well and have experience hand feeding. She had three other babys that she has priced at $1000 when weaned. There is also an avian vet that breeds TAG's and sells them at $700 fully weaned, with its shot and health certificate. Everyone is definately right...they are priceless!!!

HeatherStrella you are right. It is a Mini Schnauzer! She is such a good dog. I watch them all the time when the birds are out, but she not so much barks at them. In fact Niko, my Quaker chases her(my schnuazer,sophia) around. He will charge at her and Sophia just gets up and moves to a differnt spot! :laugh:

Hello chelseaB, welcome! The pics of your baby are adorable. Love the red coming in! Your baby is a week older than mine. What is his/her hatch date? Do you know yet the sex? My babies hatch date is June 6. Will be 6 weeks this friday. Not much red coming out yet. Thanks for sharing pics. Cant wait for more...and then we can watch them grow up "together" lol Heres a pic of my baby, still don't know the sex yet.

Here are some of my Quaker Niko!!

Well we dont know if its a male or female. After I rescued her I didnt know if I would keep her or not.We hadn't offically named her. BUT the kids have started to call it Sassy. She/he comes when called so I guess that is her/his name!! lol. She does play on her back, very silly bird. My son who is 9 can get her to roll over. She loves him more than any of us!!

My conure is a Pineapple GC. I originally wanted a sun. I had my money saved up. I went out to buy an extra cage and these people had this baby scooting around on the floor. When I picked her up I noticed her leg looked broke and her wings were cut. She was only 6 weeks old!! I couldnt leave her there. They hadnt taken her to the vet and told me her leg would be fine and heal on its own.I convinced them to sell her to me. I took her to the vet got her all fixed up and she is now doing well!

Thank you all for all your comments! Judygram, I do have other birds. I have a few lovebirds, A conure, & a Quaker. This is my first Grey. I had to look high and low for this baby. I couldnt find anyone in my area. I was very lucky to find him/her and the breeder was such a delight herself! I dont have names picked out yet...suggestions would be nice! I havent had it DNA'd, so I cant wait till then. It would probably be easier to find a name then to! Thanks so much for the warm welcome!

Hello everyone. I am new here and just wanted to introduce my baby.:lol: He/she is 5 weeks old. Handfeeding is going great. He is alert,plays all the time with a toy I have hanging in the brooder(when he's not sleeping)and is quite vocal! I enjoy watching him watching us! Babies are such a joy!!

Hello, I am of course new to this forum. I just recently welcomed a baby CAG into my family. He/she is 5 weeks old, don't know the sex,that will come later. Anyway, I love to read all about this beautiful babies so I look forward to reading your interesting stories. I also look forward to sharing some of mine with you! Like I said the baby is 5 weeks old I have had him for a week now. My baby is eating well,sleeping,and being very vocal. He's very alert,and likes to be in the center of everything. Stretching his neck to see all that is going on! Well thanks for allowing us to join the forum. Can't wait to start reading!!
