hi every body i'm back ,i tryed the organic baby food ,brown rice and peas and garbonzo beans and carrot ,he liked alot ,and i gave him in the morning oat meal with little bit of peanut he was happy ,after that he didnt touch his seed and dry pellet for 3 hour later ,he just sleep little bit and then begin to active like befor ,i didnt know he is going to like peanut but he did ,and he have vet appoitment at tuesday, and i offer him soak pellet with warm water too at 5 o'clock evening its pretty bird pellet, and the zupreem fruity pellet,know every thing is going perfectly but he is not eating by his own just with my help, its fine for me if this normal. because one breeder told since keeping feeding him by your hand when his age 15 weeks ,so you going to feeding all your life so i get phobic from that and i feel somthings wrong with my bird.

hi ,he so beautiful and this wonderful news about yor baby flying,mine when he begin to fly he scared me to death,i was not ready for his flying and he fly and land in the top of the kitchen closet like yours doing in the picture.

yeh i will, thank you for every thing you offer me ,tomorow is new day I'm going to try the peanut with his oat meal,i try it before with his vegetable he doesn't like peanut ,but I'm going to try it again i never give up with my baby,im always offer him a new food but he is very pikie ,but in our area we dont have avian exotice vet we have just one its on city of hawthorn this the one i found, and i live at torrance ,CA.

i forget to tell that when he eat his formula he look like he is feedig me how the mom feeding the baby and he begin to throw up a food from his beak ,and he yawning alot like he yawning every5 to 10 minute,so i dont know if this right, every thing i told to the vet that from 4 week ago and he told me this normal and his blood test was normal and his drop was normal so i dont know ,may be he need diffrent test vet should know what he need.

yeh, but mine he doesn't eat more then 35cc he he begin to turn his face after he eat 35cc 30cc ,and he still give a hard time after i try every food tou told about it he begin to get bord and not eat it any more,and he is not taking his formula morning or after noon just in the night ,morning he eat his oat meal like one table spoon ,and after noon i smash for him sweet potatoes and carrot and green beans and he eat like one teaspoon and at five he doesn't wont to eat ,but you see him he is crushing the seed but im very shure he is not eating because i see the seed and the heart still in his bowl and his crop empty ,in the night he take his formula so i tooke his weight its 355 again in the end of day after he eat his frmula, but in the morning 364gram.

hi,this helen again sorry i doesn't give every body news about cookie ,he is gave a hard time to feeding him and I'm too busy with him to find out what he like what not,my baby is very picky ,is this right his crop should be full in the end of day when he begin to eat by his own? so you can feel that his crop full.

hi ,how old your baby grey know? this is a great news, i hop mine is going to do it one day,he is 16 weeks know and he still wont eat on his own, until i feeding him every thing by hand and smash food not hard and he doesn't like the seed even the sunflower seed ,so congratulation on your weaned grey.

hi jay i try this game with cookie but he didnt like it he scared ,may be when he grow up little bit so he know what happene:P :blink:

yeh his feet cold,and he shaking his wing when i holding him ,and when im close to him in the cagetalking to him,but he dosnt do that befor until yesterday and today,and its happen after the earthquake coming he scared to death that day and he was holding my finger to hard and shivering until i calm him down little bite ,and he begin shaking the naxt day in the morning .

hi every body,cookies doing good he is trying to eat his pellet and seed little bit more then before, and today he is weight 365gram so he gain weight ,and i feed him by hand ,and he try to eat bye him self ,but he rejected his formula in the morning,he preffered to eat oat meal so he did,just one thing i see him today and yesterday he was shaking little bit i dont know why is this signe of illnes, so his wings shaking ,and home tempreture 72.

today he wont eat his formula so he prefered to take oat meal at 8:30 in the morning little bit by him self and i help him little bit too,and know he is calling me that he is hungry again its 11:37 :ohmy: :laugh:

so im still i can leave the seed and dry pellet in his cage right?

cookie is fine know ,he is trying to test the warm food i offer him,do i have to take all the food from his cage and put the food again every 3 4 hour,or keep all the dry pellet and seed in his cage? and offer him the warm food every 4 hour? what should i do about that can you give schedual for that, i hop you dont mind .

thank you maggie and jay you was so help ful friend and so nice and sweet .and thank you for all those people who support me and help me.and gave me strenght i was very stress full and very sad from all this proplem happen to me and for my baby cookie.

i brouth him two kind of pellet the zupreem fruity pellet and the pretty bird weaning pellet this kind i can put it in a warm water and getting softer and he like it soft and warm.

hi,i give the birdie muffin he liked alot and make all his food worm the sweet potatoe and i boiled the brockley little bit to more soft, and he liked too, but stil not eating the seed that he have.

ok,im going to do appointment and im going to feeding him three time a day,and smash birdie bread to see what going to happen thank you very much i hope every thing is going to work fine im going to be in touch and tell what going to happen,and ia went to the stor and bought jiffy corn bread,and sweet potato and my best .

No he didnt fly a lot,and his flying was very bad at that time,he wasnt know how to perch good ,he was trying hard to pershesing good but he get failed and fall down on the floor .

i called his vet today and he said i should put all his food with his bowl at the cage to let him eat it bye him self,and i have to walk a way and dont shaw him my self and see what going to happen ,and he told me if he keeping loosing weight so take appointment for him and bring him to the office.

I let my baby fly for 10 days , and the breeder told me you should clip his wing befor he starts flying,so he wont hurt him self ,possible broken neck or leg if he hit the window or miror or if he didnt pershed right ,so i told her to clip his wing fearing from all those problems possible happen later.

my baby is congo and his weight was 370gram , thank you for your advice every body ,im going to call his vet know and tell him about this problem , but his vet did do drop test and blood test from 4 weeks ago it was normal nothing wrong ,he tell me he is weaning this the hard time for him .but im going to give him phon call again and see what he advice me .

ok, so if i didnt clip his wing did he is going to eat by him self again? today i wake up in the morning i gave him two table spoon of warm oat meal and he begin to eat it by him self that what he eat, som thing similar to formula, and for seed he is not eating and vegetable to,just little bit of soak warm pellet if I offer him with spoon not by him self, he wont eat it by him self what should i do please help he is keepe loosing weight,and i know i did mistake to except an unweaned bird i didnt know it was too hard to weaned parrot, but im doing my best.
