1. That picture explains a lot for me. thank you.
2. Sorry about the tiny picture. I tried 4 times yesterday and it kept coming out huge. I think I got it now. http://i1144.photobucket.com/albums/o488/austinrngr/DSCN0599-1.jpg I used the same thing as you did. It seemed like the lightest option and it does clean up easily. The corrugated plastic board is easy to find at ant office supply store. Bella is 4 yrs old. I got her when she was 5 months old. she doesn't mind hanging out in one spot as long as she has something to do or if someone is in the same room. Its obvious you love your bird with all those great things you make. I'm almost tempted to copy your coffee table playcenter. I just couldn't figure out what holds up the board. or do the legs end under the table or do they go thru the table?
3. Doug, i just wanted to say Thank You. That window perch is awesome. I instantly ran out to buy the stuff to make one. bella loves it. She gets to look out the window and watch the people walking by. http://i1144.photobucket.com/albums/o488/austinrngr/DSCN0601.jpg
4. That is an awesome stand. What kind of colored tape did you use on the perch? You and your son did a great job on it. I think I might try to make one.
5. Bella's new cage she got for Christmas. It's 32x64x71. She loves it.
6. It takes her about a couple of 15 min. sessions to learn each of those tricks. But it takes about a week to really get her to do it on command everytime.
7. Well, I've been working with Bella for a few weeks now and it's been going well so far. I've been experimenting with this "clicker training" that people have been talking about. It seems like its a good method of training. I made a video of Bella and her tricks she just learned. Here is the link if anyone would like to see it. 8. That was a great explaination of using clicker training. Thank You.
9. I like it alot. It allows me to take her places that would be difficult if she was pooping everywhere. It's pretty easy to put on. She has a high tollerance for me handling her.

Post edited by: austinrngr, at: 2009/06/16 21:02
10. Bella is doing great. I convinced to her wear a flight suit so I can take her out with me, without getting bird poop all over me. She seems to love the adventure of going to new places. Post edited by: austinrngr, at: 2009/06/16 04:45

Post edited by: austinrngr, at: 2009/06/16 04:53
11. Hi, I'm new to this community and just wanted to say hello. I have a 5 1/2 month old grey named "Bella". This is are first parrot in our house and we are new to this. In the 1 1/2 months that we have had Bella, she has already brought us such enjoyment. I have to kids, 9 and 10 and they love her so much in the short time we have had her. She is wonderful with the kids. She loves to give kisses and take "tickles" from the kids. I've been looking around this site for a few weeks and have gathered lots of information. I've been looking at all the great picture and videos of all the great greys. I really love this site and hope to be part of it for years to come. Rob
