yes she is hand feed by the husband and he is normally the only one that can put her in the cage with no problems but i guess that is just a matter of training and that will come along the way .lool .i hope she is so lovely

Hey SHe .. she turned 1 year in martz.. they had told me she was hard to get back into the cage. and boy was she ., but eventually she went in by herself. lool but just as stubborn as me. Luv.. thank you i will try and make that work ,,with photobucket

hey luv , Thank you so much .,foxy is also fawn and i love that color.. she barks a bit when the birds fly around too wild .but she soon gets tired of it and goes to sleep .. just opening one eye now and then.,.lool . foxy is 2 years old and still very puppy like... i do keep afirm eye on the dog and the birds when they are out cause foxy's nose sometimes comes very close and as you say .,i wouldnt forgive myself if something awfull happened., i have a picture where Sille and Foxy are eyeing each other but it is too bigin here and i dont know how to make it smaller. lool

Hey Judy and Luv . her name is Sille.. im thinking maybe giving her another name but not sure yet .,have to come up with a good one ..lool so far she is sitting on top of my head.,she has a little trouble finding out where to land yet.,but that will come, . my little pug is very interested and fortunately she dont really care.. hehe but i keep an eye on both., but she is so mild and trusty.. i already love her.,

Hey now it happened.. i have for a long time been thinking about getting one more parrot and today i picked up my new cocatoo.-. it is an Elenora ocatoo and she is 1 year old and just adorable., she is bigger than i imagined but fortunately i had a cage that fitted her though i want one that is a little bigger., i picked her up in north of jutland (denmark) and it was 2 1/2 hours drive up there ., she was very cuttley even from the start. i had been a bit worried how Gaia would take it but so far she is doing great .,i havent had them out yet but will soon . - not together though .., at least in the beginning depending on what they say to each other ., but im so happy and i can probably not sleep tonight loool :woohoo: here is some picturs.,

Hey . i will try what you all say.. i cant see if she is molding .,she is not really loosing any of her feathers ..but maybe it is just the begining., she gets at least 10 hours sleep .. and im very carefull that she does.., when she bites its mostly out in the kitchen when i put my hand infront of her to step up .,but now i have started to put my hand a little away from her so she has to come to me ,and not the other way around and she dont bite when i do that .,its like she think the kitchen is her place ., i cant wipe the table with a cloth with out she biting or hacking at me ., but im going to give her a little space and let her come to me., and she how it goes .,thank you so much for helping me.,

HeY Carol ., my god what you have been through and your son it is amazing that he is still with you .,i hope things will be so much better for him now that he is with you., i cant even begin to imagine what you all have been through ,and yes guadian angels do exist.,, and your son is lucky he has one,,, all my thoughts goes to you and i hope things will be better with time,

hey she ., i try to be calm when i handle her .. and she can be happy and i can take her up .,but then she sometimes decides she dont wana come and then she bites me , but i will try harder to be real calm when handle her ,., i have had her since august last year and she is 5 years old now she was really angry at the former owner and i dont know if she has bitten him because when i picked her up she wouldnt allow him to eighter take her out or put her back ín the cage and she was really angry at him ., i dont know if she has been allowed to be "the boss" where she come from .,and i cant get in contact with him anymore..,

hey there.. My tag Gaia is a very lovely bird and love to cuddle and kiss, and she talks a lot .,but i have one problem ., just out of the blue she can attack me., and she bites my fingers so it bleeds.,she really bite hard and she dont let go .. and i dont know what to do about it .,i have tried to give her time out in the cage .. i have tried to say no .,i have tried to make a screching sound like bird does when they play in between and one is a little rough.,but nothing helps .. is there anyone that know the peoblem and maybe know how to prevent it .,i have been looking if i have looked different or smelled diefferent or anything unusual but she still do it ., please help me.,

Hey tycos mom., i tried the thing with just give her pellets and she is very stubborn and didnt eat for two days at all besides the littel nuts i gave her on the side , so that worried me too . . because i was affraid she would get sick in the end if she didnt eat,.,llooll she is a VERY PICKY little lady .,

tycos-mom. i have written down what you have written also you Danmcq.. and yes she weights 433 the vet said she looked skinny so i got very worried.,but im glad you said that is high for an tac. i have only met cag and i dont have anything to compare with ., and the vet might not loool ., so i just need to change her food and not her weight ???.. i have never had a grey before . so pretty new with them and when i bought Gaia i have never head of a tag ., lool

hey i have a timneh grey .i got her August last year and the guy i bought her from have been feeding her IGP seeds. i continued that and also feed my little amazone the same .. unfortunatly died from fungus.. and i got scared that my TAG would be sick too but she wasnt so i desided to change to pellets ., but she just dont like then.. i feed them to her with aloe vera over and she loves the aloe vera but just suck it off the pellets .. she weihgts 433gram and i think she feels a bit skinny on her chest bone . when the zmazon died i too Gaia to the vet to make sure she wasnt sick too but she is very heathy.. but a bit too thin ., anyone with same problem .. or have any advise as to what i can do in thís situation?

Hey Tomm feel so sorry for you .. but maybe you are right that it was good you didnt see him in the end and he you ., now yuo can both remember the happy times and not the last sad time too much though its hard... i sat with my bird in hand when he died and i was so sad and though i remember the short but good times we had .,. i still cant get over the day he died in my hands., i feel for you but the littel fellow is in no pain now .. uh im starting to cry with you now ...:sick:

I am really sorry to hear about Boobilu., i have a little pug that gets epilepsy now and then . the wet have given me some medication she has to have every day to avoid it .. maybe there is somethings that can be used for birds also .,but as danmcq is saying be sure that she can land on something soft if she gets a zeazure it is awfull to watch and i hope you have a good vet there can help you ., looking forward to an update..

Hey there. im truely sorry to read your story.. and it is so hard for every one to tell you what you should do .,.i would say go with your gut feeling, maybe you can have your little friend a little longer, as long as he dont suffer ... but you also have to think what is best for the little fellow.. im so sorry for you and i know i might not be to any help . but will be thinking of you.,
