Awww Thanks everyone for the welcome backs and love! Caitlin you'll always have a special place in my heart too I am sorry that Ecko is being a lil stinker lol. One thing someone on here suggested I think it was Lovethat Grey or Janet I forgot but it was to make sure I was the one who fed the babies so we can have that bond. I been doing it ever since, my daughter doesn't think the babies like her at all cause there always pooping on her! lol Thank You Dan, Christina, Acapella and of course Cautlin. Were having a ball and somedays im like wow there something else! lol I wouldn't have it any other way :-)

I put it in there warm oatmeal with dried cranberries, veggies and crushed pellets that they have leftover. I don't throw anything away. I mix the crushed pellets up with warm food and drizzle the palmn oil in it. They love it BUT just think there eating machines lol. Good luck Mellissa

What I did for my babies too was I put a towel at the bottom of the cage and bought puppy pads to cover the towels. They do poop up a storm so instead of me washing the towels everyday I just removed and threw away the puppy pads. My babies didn't chew them because they had them on the floor at the breeders. 10 toys I think is over kill my babies have 5 in there cage and a boing in the middle too. Good luck on your new baby

I don't smoke thank goodness, my father died at 66 from Lung Cancer my partner stays down stairs 99% of the time and DOES NOT smoke upstairs where we are at.I told her before we got the birds that she canot smoke around them. I commend those that don't smoke around your babies :-) I can imagine how hard it is but it's always better to be sfae then sorry.

Hi everyone I didn't forget about you over here. Thank You Caitlin for sending me a email and thinking of us! I have been very busy looking for and getting a new job, my older son getting him all together, my other kids my baby son is graduating frm Jr High school and of course....The Twins! lol Ok here's the break down real quick: Ahmani- She is whistling and learning how to talk ALREADY! She has a nasal way of talking and is very feisty. She loves my hair but does NOT want to come down so I had to limit her from getting up there. I don't appreciate the growls lol :unsure: She wants to be petted when she WANTS too. She hates baths, and basically being told what to do NOW if she don't sound like a woman then I don't know who does! lol She has a way about her that she loves you on her time lol. Ahjari- OMG the love of my life! {Love-00020118} He will let you touch you anywhere and doesn't growl at me. My kids call him a "mama's boy!" *grining* can't help that! He sleeps on my lap and on me and when I open up there cage there fighting to jump on me. He's very territorial of me and when the kids try to get him he runs the other way on me lol. It's 9:11am so there eating away they LOVE oatmeal and dried cranberries. Ahmani is very possesive of the food dish lol. Here are a few pictures: That above is Lil Ms. GREEDY! They are starting to hang upside in my hands to play both of them are. I am grateful that they don't sling food they LOVE it too much lol. Ahmani hates being dirty and is wiping off her beak on there steel bowl. So there you have it a MINI series on the babies! I will take more pictures later on.... Carol

Ty Cristen, Pat and Kitty my son is doing great! He enrolled in getting his G.E.D and they will help him find a job. His peaceful place right now in downstairs on the porch. The animals all love him even the birds lol. Ahmani loves him with her moody self lol Ahjari loves everyone especially me. I haven't been on here much I have been looking for another job and trying to get the birds, kids and my son settled in. This has been a long month already. Thank You everyone for the continued love and support.... Carol

Yes I have bought things from windycityparrots.com and they were great with my orders! Judy is right sometimes things do happen and when I had ordered from them a few months ago they were in the process of moving to a larger store so maybe they are still transitioning. They are really great about CS and shipping things out really quickly.

Aww Thanks Tina I know it seems like forever since I lasttalked to you. My oldest daughter told me last week my son's old place was BOARDED up! I am thinking something seriously happened I am soo glad that I went with my GUT feeling and got him out of there as fast as I could! Thank You Tina for worrying about us and I will give the babies a kiss in a few seconds

I feed our 2 babies Beak appetite' or Oatmeal with fruit and veggie mixed in, They also get 1 serving of red palm oil for breakfast, they ALSO have a mixture of either Dr D's pellet or Roudybush, a fruit, vegie and seed mixture. They get 1 scrambled egg once a week also too. Now yes I know it's controversial as far as pellets go. I choose our pellets because they DO NOT have any sugars and or artifical colors in them. Bringing up the subject about what they eat in the wil now give or take we have a dog and a cat. They hav a TON of raw meat diets for dogs now simulating what they eat in the "wild" I will NEVER feed our dog raw meat a good ole bag of Purina will do just fine or Eukanuba too. I know that there is no perfect diet let alone a perfect pellet. I said all that to say that yes dogs and cats are different BUT can we say that bag dog and or cat food can be considred a "pellet" diet too? I just want what is better for our babies ALL of them human and pets. I just think all we can do is the very best to give them the very best... That's just my 2 cents on the whole perfect diet thingy lol
