Sorry Erika, but Ana Grey never has a dirty face. She hates messy food, won't eat oatmeal anymore. When she eats her apple she takes small bites and wipes her beak immediately after a bite. She refuses to be messy. She prefers dry food to wet food. Maybe I could fake a messy picture mmmmmm !!!!! But I love this thread and seeing the messy faces!!!!!

Catlin, Ecko is such a lucky guy. Looks like he is going to be a very outgoing grey. Thanks for sharing him with us!!!!

Hi Bobbi, from your Avatar it is easy to see that ZaZu is a gorgeous grey. I live alone so my grey is most bonded to me so I can't help much with your situation, but I wanted to welcome you to the family. If you have pictures to share of Zazu we would love to see them and hear more about her.

I feed Pretty Bird Species Specific for African Greys to Ana Grey which I get on line. Of course Ana Grey also gets veggies, fruits, nuts and seeds and other treats.

Could you provide a picture of chimay's beak? That would really help so we could give a more accurate opinion.

Interesting story chimaysmommy. I believe animals do have a way of sensing things or are attuned to things we can't sense. The way you handled this episode seems to have been the right way.

Lori, I am sorry the aspergillus test came back positive, but now you know what you are dealing with and you have a fantastic vet who cares what happens to your grey. Keep positive and be strong because the upward journey is in sight and I pray sweet Eli is on the way to a full recovery.
