My Ana Grey has been molting and I don't touch the larger feathers, let nature take its course. She does love me to scratch her newer smaller feathers, around her neck and head, and just closes her eyes and enjoys.
Elvenking, I agree our greys are just too wonderful!!! I'm delighted you decided not to clip your grey, they are too beautiful when they fly and I believe so much happier! When I read your posts I hear the amazement of how much your grey tries to please you, aren't they they just the best. Can't wait to hear more from you about your sweet grey!
I only have my fearless and sweet female grey who loves attention and to jabber away and a very quiet male ekkie. I know their are others who have both so I too am curious to see what they have to say! Karma to you for this great question!
I am totally in shock my Amazon has been sold. When I went to talk to the shop this AM he was gone. They sold him, Friday afternoon to a guy from Portland. I wish I had told them I was definitely going to take him, now its too late! I could kick myself, I am so stupid!!!!!
Hey Spock so happy to hear that you are singing and whistling! Keep on plugging along Big Guy, we are all behind you to pick you up if your spirits droop a little. So stiff upper lip and carry on!!! Hugs & Kisses!
Wow Dr. Flock, did you do the two carvings!!!! If you did, I am totally impressed they are lovely! And if you didn't, they are still lovely and where did you get them?
Congratulations Dixie!!!! How exciting Dixie and you must be, I remember the feeling when Ana Grey first started to really fly!!!!!! Hooray Dixie!!! Karma to you Robin!
Congrats on finding a breeder!!!! Sorry about the wait but look at all you can learn and get ready before your new baby arrives. I had to wait two months and this forum was a great place to hang and learn while waiting!
Karma to you Sunshine0125 for re-homing an older grey. I have an older re-homed eclectus that only says "Hi" and laughs or makes laser sounds. He is a very quiet. So I know what you meant, you still love them to pieces! Your new grey just may surprise you in the future! I can't wait to hear more about your flock!
  Lyn, totally loved the "snake charming" dance of the ringneck. And laughed myself silly Jane about the wrong car!!!!!  :woohoo:
  Well if Spock is complaining the meds and great foods he's getting must truly be helping him feel better!!!! Be brave Jay, Spock will thank you once he is all better!!!
I'm hoping that some of our Amazon parronts can help me out here. I'm thinking of re-homing an older Yellow-naped Amazon. (I think that is what this amazon is) So if anyone has any experience with one, please help me out! What are their personalities like and do they get along with greys??

Hi Amy, I think its great that Flip and Archie get along. I wish my ekkie and grey got along but my older ekkie barely tolerates younger Ana Grey. Several of our members have fids who are friends. Hopefully they will post on this thread and reassure you. Glad to hear from you by the way!
