Hi Greytness. You were dead right about using more liquid. When I looked at the recipe closely I discovered that I had overlooked the water....... Silly me ? I made a new batch and it turned out perfect. Dont know how I missed that the first time !!!

My vet recommended that I change Pia from a seed diet to Harrison's bird food. She started Pia on bird bread to get her used to the taste. I followed the instructions on the bag to a T, but after baking it, the texture was not like bread at all. It was all crumblie. I don't know what went wrong...... Does anybody know if it's alright to add water to the mixture ?

Where will I get the leather strapping ?

hi again judy. Baileys toys arrived this morning. I'm going to clean her cage and put them in. Dying to see what she thinks of the bucket. I got her a rain stick as well and some sugar cane sticks. Hope she likes them !

Your so lucky Shelly. My first CAG was carried off by the wind last year and I never got her back. We found her about 3 miles from the house, on top of a tree but when we put the ladder up against the tree she got a fright and flew away....never to be seen again

I tried to order the bucket, but they don't ship outside of America.....bummer

Luckily, I own a pet shop and we sell these all the time for rabbits and guinea pigs. I'll get one tomo for Bailey to play in. Thanks a mil for the idea.......she was starting to get fed up with her other toys : )

Hi everyone, It looks like I need your help again. Bailey started feather plucking when I went away for a weekend. I hoped she'd stop plucking after a few days, but she's still at it. I read about a collar made from plumbers pipe. Can anyone give me some advice on this or maybe some instructions on how to make one. :confused:

YYeah....I've been there lots of times. Its a fab park with hundreds of different types of birds & parrots Make sure to bring good walking shoes with you cos the place is massive. I have loads of pics from Palmitos Park, but none on my computer.....sorry about that. There's a Birds of Prey show, a Parrot Show, a Dolphin Show and lots more. You'll have a great day ! Enjoy

Hi all. No such luck !..............I searched all day for her but there was no sign. Where the hell is she???????? Your right, I should have stayed there all night and I might have had a chance of spotting her again. All I can do is try again in the morning.

I went out looking for Bobby again this morning. There was ni sign of her again. I'm heading back out now to put up fresh posters around the area she was in last night. My husband went looking for her at 6.30am.too. I can't believe we were so close to her last night !

Actually Jillybeanz.....you are wrong. Jack did find my grey " Bobby ". I met up with him when I went to look for her tonight.

Been there, done that, and there's nothing else I can do now ! Except.....hope she was taken in by somebody nice who'll look after her well. I have to get on with life without her now. At least I still have ' Bailey ' , her cage mate & friend.

But I don't know what to do next. I think she's gone out of the area now, cos I haven't heard any word about her recently.

I've done radio stations, children, door to door, posters, listening out, getting my lovebird to call her, and lots more.

I'm in the same situation. My cag Bobby flew out of his cage last Wednesday and I've been looking for him ever since. Its like loosing a part of you. Hopefully he'll get him back soon. And me too !

Hi Judy Its been ages since I've talked to you. Thanks for your advice. I've done everything I could possibly do now ! Friday last she was spotted on the roof of a shop about 2 miles away, and yesterday she was in a garden not too far from the shop. But neither could catch her. She must be very tired and hungry now so I don't think she could fly much further. I brought my lovebird with me last night and this morning in the hope that Bobby would hear her call. I've talked to hundreds of people about her and given them my phone number. I've even contacted a Dublin radio station. I don't think theres much else I can do now except wait for a call.( Please God let someone call ) I miss her very much : (
