It cleared up on its own, I just gave him his vitamins and fruits and veggies!

his eye is soooooooo much better! there is no longer any sign of infection, and he is talking,whistling and moving around more:laugh: I took him out to the garden today since the weather was nice and we had a blaaaaast:woohoo:

It doesnt show alot in the picture, actually it barely shows but that isnt what I'm referring to, there is a small red rash under his eye. The eye looks watery, as if he was gonna cry. I really dont think its a bruise though, Im not sure..

The vet said he has a cold, and that its going around in Kuwait these days between the birds. She gave me some vitamins to put in his water. This morning i woke up and he had a small red rash under his eye. The picture isnt very clear, i couldnt get Kaskoo to like at the camera long enough for me to take a picture!

When I woke up this morning, i noticed that Kaskoo, my CAG, has some swelling above his right eye:ohmy: . Im really worried, when you leave him alone for a long time, he closes it and leaves only his left eye open. Im taking him to the vet tomorrow, but I was wondering if there was anything i could do now. Please help! Im really worried about Kaskoo.:ohmy: I'll try to upload a picture later :ohmy:

and for dessert ill bring a chocolate coated grey! I hear they are delicious!!

There was a big sandstorm in Kuwait today, its very very dusty outside. As much as we try to keep the dust outside the house, you just cant, its too much! Im worried about Kaskoo, i left him in his cage this morning, because i thought it was too dusty, but now i feel sorry for him. How bad is the dust on a CAG's health?

In Kuwait right now the temperature is in its low 20Cs (68F) which compared to our normal weather is freezing!! I always cover Kaskoo when we go to bed, and I also made sure he was watching over me as I added the basket to his cage, then I played with it a bit, put him in the cage without closing the top, and tried to get him to get closer by using grapes, but he didnt like it. He was shivering in the morning so I guessed he was as cold as i was. I guess if there is no improvment with the basket in a week, i will take it off and add another cover. But if its gonna get colder id rather not cover his cage with 3 covers! That would make the cage stuffy. So, I assumed that adding a basket to his cage would keep him warm when the temperature decreases, and it would make his cage more enjoyable for him. Kaskoos cage is inside the house, but its still cold since its we still havent gotten the heaters out.

I tried the basket with a warm blanket in it, he was terrifies of it all night, i know its too soon but could it be he is scared of the red blanket?

I dont mean cold as snow cold, Kuwait doesnt get snow, so it wont be freezing point cold. I guess he should be fine then? I will try those tips!! Thank you..

Winter is on its way to kuwait and im really worried about Kaskoo. Its not cold enough to turn on the heaters, but you still have to wear a jacket before leaving home. Is there anything i should do? I honestly have no clue on how to keep him warm these days..

its not my ears he bites, its my hair... and they are not actual bites, hes just trying to climb and use my shoulder and body as a ladder, I tried to stop letting him on my shoulder last week, its just that he will do climb all over my hands to get to my shoulder, and he just sits there and watches me. He does step up when i ask him too though.

:lol: :lol: Kaskoo also bites the scrunchiee.. and now his latest trick is biting and biting till he gets to stand on top of my head...
