Same with Rexxy, He loves to poop all the time too. I think it is a way to show his love to us. :sick: I just hate it when he has gone on my head. But since I got hit with that HUGE morning poop ...way too many times. I have been working every morning ...holding him above the garbage can near his cage...about 3 hops on my cruthes. We get there and I say "go poop" sometimes it takes about 30 sec, but then he justs lets go. Then a make a big "good boy" and he gets so excited.

That is cool. I finally got mine thru publishers clearing house for 12 bucks a yr.

We wanted a name that was close to human. We thought it would be weird having a conversation with a bird named something goofy (my daughter came up with some odd ones). We came up with Rexxy after that cute little dinasuar from pbs cartoon "callou". He likes rexxy, rex and rexxer.

What a great post Judy. Me and my family are going to the exact same place for 7 days here over xmas to new yrs. This is the first time we are leaving are fid Rexxy (7mth) and my Sadie (almost 3). I am so nervous to leave them and glad to read yours were happy you are home and you had a great time. I am more nervous going on a vacation the first (maybe last) time in a wheelchair. Here is Rexxy tearing up his corn on the cob for dinner. He was flinging really far and reminded me that is why I feed this to him in his cage and not on the tray. HAHAHA

I hate the morning poop. :sick: Rexxy nows holds it until I take him out of cage and my leg is under him. I am tying to teach him to go over the garbage can now. That morning stuff if way worst to get out of your colthes.

That is so much fun. I got to that at our zoo in Alb. The birds were really hugry and I kept getting like 10+ at a time on me and the zoo keeper and to keep moving them off my head. It is really fun to do.

I got one cage at petco. They have a cool one at our petco right now for $250 tht is really nice but I dont need another one but my husband wants to buy it evvery time we go.

I have been using "Zero" cleaing prodcuts. On my dogs poop stains on carpet and does pretty well. Used it on it my shirts for watery poop stains. It is not bad and it has all that eco-friedly, animal safe on bottle.

I took my daughter out today to go get the Wall-e movie. She has been waiting for it to come out. So we were not home before my husband. So he got some Rexxy adventure for the first time. First-He was picking up and was walking back forth through the house. He put Rexxy on his tree and told him to stay. He went to the bedroom and Sadie followed. Then he left but Sadie stayed behind. So he went back and then all of sudden Sadie jumped in front of him and jumped up on him and then bowed to the floor. Then he finally looked down and there was Rexxy....looking for me in the bathroom. Second- Rexxy was on the top of the couch waiting for dinner and doing little barks and such. Then he went to my spot and according to my husband Rexxy said "Amber ... where are you. He about died. Now my name is Mom or Dawn but Amber is my daughters name. So it is funny he would want Amber. I only get to hear "good boy" and "yep" from Rex. But it amazes me how greys interact different with each person. I feel good that he wonders were we went. B)

That is what Rexxy does on his treestand before bed, just like Toni's grey above. Not sure what he does in his cage, i never peak in and check under the cover.

They are all so cute together. As time goes on the relationship will grow in the house and the pack grows. They all take care of everyone in time. They all love each other.

He is such a cute snuggle baby.

Looks like a ton of fun. On a side note...I see those plastic keys. I want to get Rex a pair. Do your girl play with hers?

Thanks everyone. Sadie got lots of hugs and kisses for her actions and some treats...which included getting to finish Rexxy's oatmeal he didnt finish. She loves it. Sadie surprises me time and time again. I think Rexxy is learning this too..I hope. When I am in a Flare up he just stays on his tree and Sadie lays againest me. I am happy that my 2 animals have turned out right in my life. I really need them. I cant wait to get Sadie her safty helping vest. People will be shock seeing her in a store. B)

I bought some ferret toys last week. The bells inside the toys were bigger than the cat toys so far it has lasted longer.

---first I want to remind of the relationship of my dog and my fid due my handicap. I trust my dog with a lot in my life.--- This morning me and Sadie heard a bump in the kitchen from the bedroom but we thought maybe something hit the house. It was time to get up so I went to the bathroom and Sadie came with. We heard the bump again and told her to go look so she went running off to see what the noise was. I heard no barking from her so I continue to get ready. Here is the funny part... All of sudden I hear Rexxy's little barking that he does and I look down .... I see Rexxy getting pushed in the butt gently by Sadie into the bathroom. :huh: I was in shock that 1. Rexxy was out of his cage and 2. Sadie help get him through the house to where I was. It ended up the door was locked but was not locked to the cage. A mistake my husband feels really bad about. But I am so glad the Sadie did her job to help Rexxy. Rexxy loves potatoes too. His favorites are when they are cut into cubes for some reason. He also likes a little bit extra toastedness from a pan ....with no butter or oil. Just a bit of heat to add some brownness.

We all thought Rexxy was a girl too and was shocked to find out he is a boy. But as he is getting older he now seems more boy like. We love as a boy.

We eat on tv trays so Rexxy backs up and poops on the floor :whistle: He walks around the tops of the couch and we just put towels up there.

I started feeding him in little glass bowls. My husband makes my plate and rexxy bowl next to my plate. His bowl has the same as my plate but without the salt and butter and maybe some extra of his favorites. This way he looks at my plate and looks at his bowl and see they are the same and then eats from his. When he is done, he will sneek over to the plate and then pass it up ...maybe he thinks I just had that. My tip
