  5. lol.....and I thought I had it bad. I only have one CAG and no other birds.
  6. As the proud owner of a former cage aggressive CAG I would like to join the parrot bite me club. I have been bitten so many times in the last two months that now he has given up on biting because it just gets him no where. My friends thought they would have to turn me in for abusing myself till I told them I recently got a new bird and then they looked even more horrified. my wounds have healed and he is a great bird
  7. I'll be honest, I have a grey because I wanted a bird in my home. I missed having them around. I owned a love bird with zero talking ability and if my family's grey didn't need a home I would have another love bird. So I don't own a grey for talking ability but I do enjoy his talking, its a great bonus.
  8. What a great board! I have been lurking and reading many posts here and thought I should introduce winston and myself. Winston is an 11 yr old CAG and he is my avatar. He has been in my family his whole life and only recently has come to live with me. My mom didn't have time for him anymore and he had become very cage aggressive and she is afraid of him. He is no longer cage aggressive and he loves to cuddle with me. He had also developed some neurotic behavior that has started to disappear. As of the last two weeks we have been learning to fly and can now almost land where we want. I am not new to birds but this is my first bird in 9 years so I am readjusting. As a teenager we had a farm with a focus on birds and I was the main caretaker of the birds. Winston and I were basically strangers before he came to live with me because my mom lives in another state. I also never cared for him when he was younger, I consider him adopted. I am married to an airman in the US Air Force and we are stationed at Kirtland AFB in New Mexico. He is not a bird person but he is an animal person and has recently decidied that having a bird around can be fun.
