Thanks Patrick for the tip! Something else I can do to keep her busy. I never thought about that! I can just remember buying precut and dyed pieces from a lady that made them and then sold them over the net. Good prices and really good wood!

Hi all! Not sure if this is the right spot for this or not so if it needs moved please do! Can anyone please help me out? I remember buying white pine by the box for my girl Notsu yrs ago. Does anyone know where I can purchase premade sizes and dyed pieces of this wood for toy making? Or any kind of safe wood for making toys? I would prefer to get them from someone that makes them then from an pet store or one of the catalog bird suppliers, but will if I have no other option! Thank you!

Well I have been bitten once! I went on vacation for a week and left my girl with a friend and when I came back home the first time of taking her out of her cage I asked her to step up and she did but as soon as she was on my hand she reached down and bit me. Then she was fine! I think she was telling me don't leave me again! I seriously thought she broke my thumb though!!{Feel-bad-00020072}

I know this is old, but am really glad I found it! My girl does the whole thing of looking at you while grabbing a foot full then tossing it. Drives me nuts!:ohmy: Oh, well!! Still love her unconditionally!{Love-000200D9} Glad to know it isn't just my girl and other owners deal with it also!

Hi, all!! Just wanted to introduce myself and my girl! I am Tammy and her name is Nautsue (Summer), but I spell it Notsu. Easier on me and thats what the breeders named her. We became family in 1997, and has been an wonderful experience off and on since then. A lot of things to learn and still to be learned. Right now she is living with friends of mine due to a divorce and did not want that effecting her. She is a very happy well adjusted girl.
