My first post (in forever) has to be this. Wild collection is wrong and this just reinforces that. http://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/News/750-African-Greys-die-on-Durban-flight-20110113 All the bird deaths in the news have been making me nervous. I don't often log onto the site but I thought it better to know, even bad news then to be ignorant. My heart goes out to them, AND our companions that we fly with through life.

Every now and then I step into yahoo answers to give my advice (god help em) on anything from cars to greys. Not to be rude, but there are alot of du* a** people out there with african greys, and other higher parrots. Grey forums.net is big, but way many other people do not know of this site. Ignorance is all over the web. My psittacus and his grey feathers are my first priority. I suggest everyone just take a look at yahoo answers and try to help birds when we can. Trust me, this is not an endorsement of yahoo, I usually google. But there is some REALLY BAD ADVICE out there. Look for yourself. We could potentially have a chain reaction affect on grey owners and more so for birds from around the world. When bad advice surfaces as an answer, BAM we're on it, we counter attack bad info.
