  3. You will soon slip into a routine Ronda with your new baby & pretty soon know what her likes & dislikes are in food. A few more ideas as some alternatives are, wholemeal toast with peanut butter or pure honey in the mornings or oats or pureed fruit Scrambled egg, wholegrain rice, the list is endless really anything you are unsure of feeding just ask.

  5. Birds are strange things moose ! As nothing has changed in his routine there is no apparent reason for him not paying you attention,two of my greys went through a phase like this when they were 6 months old.I would personally perceive with ed, it may be he's trying to show a little dominance over you, just carry on & show him you are the boss & not him, Dont let him see himself higher in the flock than youself.

  9. Hi Moose, welcome to the forum.Im afraid when a grey attatches to one person there is not to much you can do.   14. Falconeer it is a personal choice if you feed your grey peanuts.Some members do & some dont simple as that. I have 3 greys & i do feed peanuts, walnuts, pine nuts & almonds. i always buy human grade peanuts & i dont feed peanuts in the shell.Fed in moderation i believe that are a great treat for greys.   19. Ronda,pellet's along side fruit & vegtables will be a great diet for her.A litle bit of what you eat is ok, along with the occassional treat. Here is some safe fruit & veg... Fresh Vegetables: Red Beets (peeled), Radishes, Turnips, Carrots, Cooked Sweet Potatoes, Radicchio, Endive, Mustard Greens, Beet & Turnip Greens, Dandelion Greens, Swiss Chard, Kale, Parsley, Basil, Cooked Red Potatoes, Peeled and Steamed Squash (Acorn, Spaghetti, Butternut, Summer, Pumpkin, etc. Note: the seeds are a favorite of my flock), Green Beans, Tomato, Sweet Red & Green Peppers, Hot Peppers, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Broccoli Rabe, Turnip Greens, Eggplant, Snow Peas, Tofu, Fennel, Kohlrabi, Sugar Snap Peas. Fresh Fruit: Apples (cored), Papaya , Mango (pitted), Oranges (seeded), Cantaloupe, Melon , Star fruit, Pineapple, Pomegranate, Berries (Strawberries, Raspberries, Blackberries, Blueberries), Pears (cored), Peaches (pitted), Plums (pitted), Kiwi (peeled), Banana (peeled), Cherries (pitted), Cranberries, Grapes (with seeds), Grapefruit (seeded), Tangerines (seeded), Cactus Pear (peeled), Banana (peeled) - Note Banana is only served fresh.
