  1. Thank you Greytness. I live in Colorado.
  2. I am a 25? yo DNA sexed female Congo African Grey parrot who is looking for a new home. I have lived with my current family for almost 20 years and they love me very much but due to health issues they have to find me a new home. I lived with another family for about 5 years before my current family adopted me. My former humans thought I was a boy so they named me Toby. When I went to live with my new family they had me DNA sexed and found out I was a girl so they just added Ann to my name - Toby Ann. They usually just call me Toby - unless I am naughty and then I become Toby Ann. I am really pretty and I love to talk, whistle and sing. I am also very smart and learn new things quickly. I generally prefer men but I think that is mostly because they are usually taller and I love sitting way up there on a tall shoulder. My humans have taught me what "gentle" means because sometimes when we play I get really excited and forget how strong my beak is. When they tell me to be gentle I know I am being too rough. I am almost always a really good bird but sometimes when I want attention I start getting a little loud. My humans usually put me in timeout (cover my cage) for about 5 minutes and I calm down. I live in Colorado and will come with my cage, play gym, travel cage, carrier and lots and lots of toys. I am pretty spoiled and hardly eat any pellets because my humans are really good cooks and they feed me lots of fresh fruits and veggies along with glop, birdie bread and rice n beans. My humans want to find me a really good home with other humans who will appreciate my brains as well as my beauty and singing talent. If you would be interested in adopting me, please email: caroleward@Comcast.net
  3. Hi Everybody! My name is Toby Ann. I am a 25? yo female (DNA sexed) Congo African grey. My humans rescued me form my former home when I was about 5. I have lived in my current home for almost 20 years. My humans need to find me a new home due to health issues. I am really pretty and everybody loves me because I love to show off. I love to talk and whistle and sing opera and I can be very silly. I generally prefer males but that is only because they are usually taller and I like being way up high on a tall shoulder. My first humans thought I was a boy so they named me Toby. My current family had me DNA sexed and found out I was a girl so they just added Ann to my name - Toby Ann. I am very smart and my humans have taught me what "gentle" means because sometimes I get really excited when we are playing and I forget how strong my beak is. When they tell me to be "gentle" I know I am being too rough. I am usually really good but sometimes I want attention really bad and I scream a little. When my humans put me in my cage and put a blanket over the cage I calm down and stop making so much noise. I do love making noise though but usually I just whistle and talk. My humans love me a lot and they want to find a really good home for me. I am quite spoiled and get fresh food every day. I hardly ever eat any pellets because my humans are really good cooks and make birdy bread, rice n beans and glop. I live in Colorado and will come with a cage, play gym, travel cage, carrier and lots and lots of toys. I am very healthy and have never been sick a day in my life. If you would be interested in adopting me you can contact my humans via email at: Caroleward@Comcast.net.
  4. Thank you. It has been an incredibly difficult decision.
  5. I have two beautiful female african grey parrots that I must find a new home for. They are both delightful birds and have been my family for 18 years. I bought Gabby when she was a baby from a local breeder. She is a sweet and loveable bird and very quiet. Toby is a rescue and is more outgoing than Gabby. They are both very spoiled and I would like to find them a home where they can continue to be a part of a family and spoiled. I am in Colorado Springs CO and will not ship the birds. You must be able to transport them and their cages. I would prefer that the person who adopts them has experience with greys and is willing to cook for them (birdie bread, glop, ricenbeans). If you are interested please contact me by email: caroleward@comcast.net
