OK! I understand what members are saying about clipping wings. We are back to clip or no clip and it seems that all of us have different views. I Know it's a problem for some, if not more members, to not clip, but it comes down to, is what’s best for YOU. I want my birds to go out with me wherever I go and to see more then my home. I let my birds run the house as much as they want. I let my birds walk around in my yard to play in the grass and forage for themselves. I let my birds go to the bank, flea market, drive through, see my family, plus many other places. I let my birds climb trees that are 6 foot high and play in them. I let my birds play all together in the house on the floor or gym and in one cage. I have CAG, Double yellow head, two Tiels, and they eat together on the floor when I put the food loose on the floor. I hold my birds and twirl them around, hold them and cuddle them in a towel after a bath, I have all of them on me when I’m on the couch watching TV. If this wrong for you, then enjoy your birds the way you see fit to do. This link will take you to the photos of me and my guys at the park yesterday http://www.greyforums.net/forums/the-photography-room/45677-my-birdies-at-the-kiddie-park.html#45704 THIS IS WHAT I WANT FOR MY BIRDS

Your new guy is a bird, and young, very young. He is scared out of his little mind. He left his Home and don't know why. Your bird won't get fixed in for weeks and you have to give him time. Just think how a child of one year old is taken out of their surounding and knows nothing about the new people. GIVE HIM/HER TIME. Birds take things SLOW, so should you. One baby step at a time. Help yourself with some sites that helped me. http://www.geocities.com/RainForest/6463/index.html http://www.drsfostersmith.com/pic/article.cfm?dept_id=0&siteid=5&acatid=360&aid=1392'>http://www.drsfostersmith.com/pic/article.cfm?dept_id=0&siteid=5&acatid=360&aid=1392 http://www.centralpets.com/animals/birds/parrots/prt789.html http://www.drsfostersmith.com/pic/article.cfm?dept_id=0&siteid=5&acatid=360&aid=1392

This Photo was taken in Alaska at Hubbert Glacier. Three hundred feet high from the water line, and 300 feet deep under the water. It is 76 miles to the start, and 6 miles wide. Joe <br><br>Post edited by: nevjoe, at: 2007/11/17 07:18

Wow, I'm sorry for your loss. This was so sad for you and your family. This is, no way your fault and the info you gave might save other birds. Thank You, Joe

Yes Dan. he is my son Mario. I was shocked this morning when I seen his name. I will call him today, and find out why he posted here and not called me. He was close to Spencer and all of my family love him because he was so friendly and funny to watch. He really loves people. I'll keep looking and see if Mario can help today. Joe
-
Again, THANKS FOR ALL THE WARM FEELINGS AND SWEET WORDS. I'm just so sad for him and how scared he must be. I won't stop looking. He loves people, so I hope he can find some nice people if he can't find his way back home. Your prayers are well felt by me. Joe

Thanks guys, I go out every 15 minutes for 30 min. and comb the area but nothing yet. Just too many trees and a lare area he could have went. I'm not going to stop looking for him. Joe

I lost my little cockatiel Spencer yesterday morn-ing while getting him ready for a shower outside in the cage. I did Hemingway first, Serpico (DYA) next, Cathy third with My new use of spraying them with the Aloe Vera Juice, with lots of dislike from them to say the least. When I put little Spence into the cage to dry in the heat from outside. Putting him in the cage he flew within a second right from the perch past my hand and flew away. I looked all over both yesterday and today, with not a sign of him. There are hundreds of trees here and I can't find him. I will still be looking for him, but it doesn't seem to be much hope. Joe

Well it is done now, My Tat Still a little more healing to do, but its done. I am happy with it, hope you like it too. Joe

Congratulations Dan. Good job man. You're the man for the job. Keep those news and letters on their toes. YOUR THE MAN. Joe

Thank you ALL for the votes and your warm words. For those who didn't vote for me are welcome to kiss my ring. Just kidding I think. I'm sorry I had to eat my Hula girl, but she was so sweet I had no willpower. I had to push Hemingway away because he was eating her skirt and her carrots suit. A bird doesn't fly far from the tree. Thank you ALL It was, and still a lot of fun. BIG thanks to Tracy(lovemygrays) for adding some fun to the forum. She is always working for me and you. KARMA to you Tracy. Joe
