I have been doing signings for my mystery book, The Parrot Told Me, quite a bit this summer. I've been to conventions and book stores and have been able to share my book with a lot of non-parrot people. The cool part is, so many of them are unaware of the intelligence of these creatures! I get to tell them about my own parrot, Isaac, and how I used him as an inspiration for the book. This has been so much fun for me!! I just wish that Isaac could come along....

They are beautiful. I don't see many of them around in our area. I also rarely see the black toos. Wish I could see more!!

Hello, I am the happy parent of three kids, two dogs, and one very smart CAG. Isaac was rehomed with me around 2 years ago. He has been really fun to have around and is the inspiration for my novel, The Parrot Told Me. I really enjoy parrot stories and parrot intelligence. I hope to learn a lot!
