They grow too quick... Thanks for keeping us updated =)

Cute! I used to raise buttom quails too. Hatched too many to count in an incubator. They are crazy adorable, so is your flock.

No apology needed. I understand that your best interest is for these birdies and I would feel the same way if someone did not do the proper homework in raising a bird this young. Beemo update... He is flighted! well kind of lol. He loves to fly a short distance now. He immediately flies to me when I enter the room. He loves to fly even if its just to take a couple steps, too cute! He also learned his first "noise". What is that noise? He imitates my cockatiels call. I am just glad its not my Sun conures call, although I know he will eventually pick that up too. Lastly, he used his feet for the first time to hold a toy he was playing with. All these lil "first" moments makes it all precious. He is at the stage (which is my least fav during hand feeding) where he rather play than get a feeding when its feeding time. So as a normal worried parront this is the part where I worry he is not eating enough. But its all the process of hand feeding. He is a great eater with normal foods, its just that he is still young to where he dont eat enough yet to stop his feeding of baby food. Hes 10 weeks now so about 2-4 weeks more she should be fully weaned. I am planning to start training as soon as he is comfortably weaned so if yall have and tips, tricks, or suggestions with that then all is welcome! =) Here is a pic I made, enjoy!

I see. I guess I will have to get a variety and see what Beemo chooses huh, lol. He does like dried papaya so far. As soon as he's weaned I want to start training him.

Great Pics! They definitely look happy and well cared for. Great job and keep what your doing for these wonderful birds. I wish I had the time and space to have a rescue. Hawaii does not have one here at all. There is one but its on another island, Oahu has none at all. They stay on craigslist till they are sold or if not sold then who knows what happens to them =(

Hi all, Wanted to know what is your grey's fav treats to eat? I would like to prepare so when its time to train baby Beemo I will know what type of treats to try. I do want to stay away from seeds as much as possible. I was thinking of Lafeber pellet/veggies/fruits treats?.... Thank you!

Thank you for taking taking care of all of them. And, yes! Pics are always welcome.

Happy hatch day! Did he get his "special day" party, treats, toys, and such? lol

How old is Kilaya now?

Hi there, I notice you have a Sun Conure too? My Sun Charlie has been way super jealous since I got Beemo. I try to give him attention first before tending to Beemo so he still feels special lol.

What a special lovely baby! Love the name too. I have a cockatiel that has like only one toe on each foot and is doing great, no issues at all. They do manage to get by all on their own some how. Keep us posted on Ajahni =)

Very cute!

I've always wanted to try and do that! Being a vegetarian and concerned on what goes in my body. I was also looking at things that we put on our body as well. Making your own soap is all natural and takes away all those chemicals and bad things most products have.

Glad you enjoyed it Katana600. I am trying to capture and enjoy all these baby moments because he is growing way to quick! I offered him some roudy bush pellets they other day that he actually ate and so I decided to offer him some veggies.....

Awesome! Logged on with my laptop with no issues this time. Kudos techies! =)

I get the same thing and I can't even log on with my laptop no more, it completely blocks me out this forum site. I can only access it with my ipad or iPhone with that pop up site all the time popping out of no where....?

Hi and welcome! Quite a flock you got there. Must be a fun filled house hold there. Pics are always welcome =)

He is getting very interested in toys now. He dont mind seeing and playing with new toys everyday. Trying to get him used to something new almost everyday. Question.... He is also learning to grip with his feet now. Those baby toe nails are already super sharp and cutting up my arm and palms when I carry the lil one. I was planning on just filing down a tiny bit of the sharp ends. This is fine right? I also have been getting him used to me touching his wings and toes, seemed to not mind, although sometimes he will try and pull his wing away. So filing his nails may be a good practice too so that he will be used to in the future for nail trims. What do yall think? Take care!

Hey, they could use a vacation to Hawaii.... Send'em down! hahahah just kidding!
