I've had a love for the feathered ones my whole life. Had a Budgie as a child and an albino dove in my teenage years. Parrots were too big a commitment until I settled down. Married with children now, the kids are old enough and the wife said yes eventually!
My grey is Opi. She was born in June 2013.
Preceded by Siri our "proof of concept parrot" she's a 2 year old Quaker Parakeet.
Succeeded by Hilo the 7 year old Blue Fronted Amazon family rescue. Hilo is "Rachel's bird" and he hates my face! Loves my wife, Rachel.
