  3. I have thought about getting some kind of clear plastic material to put on the walls to make for easier cleanup, but you got that right, they have to be lovable or who would put up with the mess otherwise.

    Thanks Kristin for posting this link for us, there was nothing that could have prevented his death and he did not suffer and that matters most. He is sorely missed by a multitude of greyt lovers.

  10. I cannot add to the excellent advice given, it takes time to build the trust and to bond with your grey so go slow and easy. Keep us informed as to how it progresses.
  11. Still in the cookbook I guess. I'm still working on going to Florida.:whistle:
  12. Congrats Waygo00vy on your new baby grey and good luck with the handfeeding. Keep us informed on his progress and post a picture if you have one.
  13. Well you gotta Beccy, there is no doubt about it you love them more than anything in the house. I think a food throwing contest is just the thing we need although Josey doesn't throw it very far.
  14. {Feel-good-0002006E} Supposed to be and being are two different things, but I haven't experienced any of these strange goings on with Josey, she is still as sweet and loving as usual. Is something wrong with her? I can't be this lucky.:huh:
  15. I get my Harrison's pellets from an online place that sells out of their home in Roanoke, Va and because I belong to the local bird club I get 10% off. Plus if I order it before one of our meetings I can pick it up from them then and not have to pay shipping.:lol:
  16. Kristin why don't you try the fine Harrisons pellets, thats what I feed Josey, I think she prefers the smaller ones. Try them and see what he will do with them.:lol:

  19. I see a trip to Florida is in the future, that Wine Cellar sounds like good eating is there. Dan your recipe sounds delightful and tasty, will have to try it sometime.:laugh:
  20. I think all of the bases are covered here so I have nothing to add but it would have scared me too.:ohmy:
  21. My sentiments exactly:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: {Communicate-0002011B}
  22. Dan is right, when as teenagers we never want to listen to our parents, for what do they know we think, but when you are older you will realize how much we do know, so give Dad a break, he only has your best interests at heart. But you can come to us for help any time dear.
  23. Don't worry, I think they are going thru a molt and they will lose a lot of downy feathers then and others have indicated this is the time of year for it. You should notice pin feathers too coming in to replace the ones falling out. No need for a vet visit at this time since everything else if fine especially if he is regurgitating for you, so rest easy and save your money for the day you really need it.
