He came to us on Haliperidol for self destructive behavior. Every time I tried weaning him he would butcher his feet. It took me 7 months to finally get him off. He's a different bird now that he's not doped 24/7

Yeah, Sydney's feathers were a dull lifeless mess when we rescued him. Probably hadn't felt water on his feathers for at least 8 years, if not longer. The first thing we did besides feed him a good meal was to completely mist him down.
I think I missed what's up with Huey's feet. Does he pick at them?
Yes, they fatten up quick with the right care. Our Huey wasn't skin and bones but he was covered in a fine powder dander and was eating froot loops for breakfast. He's the picture of spoiled rotten health now! His feet are still a mess but not sure that will ever heal.
