  1. Hello and welcome to you and Rex! Sounds like he is settling in fine. Post a pic when you have a chance, we love them!

  3. Really starting to fill out! What a difference
  4. That's why I retired...

  6. Boy he is growing fast!
  7. Argh. Hate stories like this! Hope she is recovered and is alright.
  8. Timber is always cuddly at bedtime too. Other than that, sounds like normal grey behavior to me!
  9. Happy Hatchday Ana Grey!
  10. Wow, who wouldn't love a cuddler like that! What a sweetheart
  11. Hello and welcome to the forum to you and Moy Moy. Lovely pics

  14. That is just lovely! Thanks for sharing
  15. Hello and welcome! It sounds like you have any interesting, healthy flock there. Funny about the name!
  16. Hard to say. Looks like its wings were clipped so must have caught an updraft
  17. I've never heard a cockatoo talk this much... http://theshrug.com/they-told-their-bird-he-was-going-to-the-vet-and-his-response-was-priceless/
  18. I'm with Sophie. I refuse to be weighed as well
  19. Wow, good to hear of another TAG around Timber's weight! Maybe he and Escher should be the cheerleaders!
  20. That's the good thing aerial, with a bird it is never too late to start your feather collection!
  21. Timber's latest is "hey there big bird." He has a toy that says hey there bird. We always call him big bird, so I guess he added the big to the phrase.
  22. LOL Steve! Sneak on your Kindle when Misty is asleep
  23. Yes, don't overwhelm him. As everyone has said, you have to move very slowly with many greys.
  24. There is a vet about 20 minutes from me (as opposed to the 2 hours to the avian vet) who has experience with birds. She does my nail trimming and that kind of thing. As brat birds said, you might check around your area and see if there are any regular vets who see birds. Then looking at neoow's experience, you might want to try to get some reference or talk to other bird owner's in the area. If Timber is actually sick, we would go the two hours to the avian vet. For an injury, I would probably try the local first and go from there.
