Timber doesn't give me "much" grief at bedtime. Like everyone, I've found routine and timing is critical. I.e. same time every night, everything in the "correct" order, etc. Even a little thing like giving him his cashew before I give the cats their treats can cause issues though. The cats get their treats first, then Timber gets his cashew. Can't forgt that pecking order!
Good information Dakota. Most of the lifetime warranties have a lot of fine print to get the manufacturer out of living up to their promises. Sorry to hear Animal Environment is one of them.
A pair of sweethearts! It took Timber a long time to move to his new digs. After we got to the side by side point (took several months), it was probably 2 or 3 days before he was willing to check out the new cage.
What great news! I feel for you. We haven't had them (probably because we have a basement). Several people in our area have though, it's a common problem around here these days. Hurray for you!
LOL Loved it. Isn't how strange when you paying attention to something else (like gaming) they seem to vocalize more than any other time? Timber hates it when I'm on the phone. I can be in the same room with him all day, but when I'm on the phone and my attention isn't on him, he says "ok, bye" several times.
After almost four years and untold hours of trying, I still have to towel Timber to get him in the carrier. You do what you have to do, and he gets over it quickly.
Great about your "nonverbal" bird turning out to be a talker! He will continue to surprise you I'm sure
I'm not sure if they do it in the UK either. Here's a link: http://smile.amazon.com/gp/chpf/about/ref=smi_se_abtpo_r_about_smi
They donate a percent (small but adds up) of every purchase you make on amazon to the charity you choose. Nothing else about your account changes.
I was just poking around amazon smile and found Marden's Ark there! If Muse mentioned it I missed it. I order a lot from Amazon, and it's an easy way to support a cause you believe in. Just thought I'd share!
Glad you found the preferred bathing method! Timber doesn't like ice cubes, but I use the same kind of pyrex dish. After he's done bathing, he has a blast pushing it around and attacking it, but can't turn it over as you said.
Great videos as always Sterling!
