It's stainless, if it gets here tonight, I'll be spending the day tomorrow disinfecting it. I know it's missing some parts so I'll have to order those too. I got such an incredible deal though, I couldn't pass it up, even with the missing parts and how nasty it was. My dad's cousin power washed it and said it cleaned up nicely.

I accepted a bid at $115 and it's on its way to me! I hope it's in good shape.

Thanks! My dad's cousin did pick it up, I'm just waiting for a few more bids to come in on uship.com. It is pretty dirty, covered in dried macaw poop. Here is a couple pics.

I have a sandy corner perch in his cage that he sits on a lot and it keeps his nails from needing trimmed.

Oops, just went back and looked again, it looks like they are glass not screen.

I forgot, maybe you might want to put mesh on the door window that goes to the outside. I would be a little worried if it's only screen.

I found out my dad has a cousin who live a few miles away! He is going tomorrow to get the cage for me. Now I have time to think about how to get it to me. I'm so happy! Well, I don't actually have it yet... It's a very large expandable habitats cage:D when I do get it, I will definitely post a new thread about it! I hope I don't jinx myself by posting this before the cage is bought.

My dad has a cousin who lives close, he's going to email him to see if he can get it for me. I really hope he can... And soon. I really want this cage! I went on uship.com and I do have one bid for $390 I think.

There is a cage there I want to buy, but I'm in CA and can't get anyone up there until this weekend. But I would like for the cage to get out of the guys house so he doesn't sell it... Just seeing if anyone here would be willing to pick up and hold for me until the weekend??

Hi, congrats on getting a grey, she is adorable! To me, it looks like she bumped her head on something. If it doesn't get worse and she is acting normal and eating and drinking, she will prob be fine... But I am NOT a vet. Others will chime in also, if you don't feel comfortable and are worried, then def take her in.

I used galvanized wire for my aviary. I scrubbed it with a wire brush and vinegar/water. I can't wait to see pics

FaceTime is awesome right? I can FaceTime with my husband who is in Afghanistan, he has wifi in his room. This way my daughter can see him and he can see her grow

I didn't make them lol, but I thought this thread would be good under the toy category. My favs are the square dance and rising stars toy. But they are all great so I thought I would share.

I don't remember how long mine took to get, but I'm sure not this long... They didn't even give you an estimated date? I can't imagine they have that many orders. I do know of one other person (well, I don't personally know them) that is still waiting also, they ordered before Christmas I think.

If I buy used bird items (only cages or stands), I use bleach and water. Then rinse really well and put it in the sun for hours.

Babalu had smelly poops when I was feeding zupreem when I first got him off seeds. It was worse on the fruit blend. Ones I got him switched to Harrison's the smell went away... Well his morning bomb still is a little stinky lol.

I made my first avian stainless order yesterday! 7 toys, including the square dance! I can't wait to get them!

He does whistle tunes and songs, I can't whistle so I pretend to and he even makes that sound lol. My husband can whistle and has taught him what he knows. But he doesn't spend to much time with Babalu, he isn't a bird person.
