Thanks guys. Its great to hear fellow owners know the Invader Zim reference. We let him watch episodes everyday. Im pretty sure he will eventually pick up all the Gir quotes.
Pustulio is quite the sassy bird. Im actually pretty surprised how well he has settled in to our home. All those books made it seem like it was going to be a wild transition.
Pustulio is already able to entertain himself
Flew from his cage to our shoulders (though I had to put an end to that with a wing trim)
He follow me into the shower
Mimics the cage door sound when he wants to be let out.
Hey guys,
Its been months since I last posted on the forum but am now happy to show off my first African Grey, Pustulio.
His name is inspired by a favorite cartoon series " Invader Zim"
Hey guys!
Still looking to adopt an African Grey. I looked up the post for all local breeders and a lot of them turned out to be non-existant or scams so if someone on the forums is selling a congo African grey, message me! I really do not mind the age or gender. As long as they are healthy and friendly
Post x3
Alright, I mean this with the upmost respect so don't be offended.
Im looking to get into contact with a local breeder rather than have a slew of opinions on what they think laws should be. (Not that advice is not appreciated)
Hoping someone could point me in the right direction. Websites.... numbers... etc...
Ive been researching and the weaning issue is all over the place as to age they are weaned.
I definitely want something over seven weeks so what is the right age to get a weaned bird then!
Hey guys,
I looking to get in contact with a local Grey breeder in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Hoping to get a Congo African Grey around 7+ weeks old by October 2010.
If someone is in the area please give me a heads up.
Thanks!

Yeah totally aware of cross contamination when it comes to reptiles. On the bright side, chameleons are not supposed to be handled. Their environment is fully automated. All I have to do is throw bugs in.
