I had to share this beautiful poem: A Cheap Bird's Plea, by Joyce Glass What is it that my life is worth How much will you pay To what extent would you go If I get ill today? I know I'm not an expensive bird My cost is fairly cheap But what is the price you put on life For something that you keep? My wings still spread out the same My heart still has a beat So why is it that my cousins Are the ones you hold so sweet? I cannot help that I was born Without a golden egg. Will you still take care of me Or make me plead and beg? I rely on you to help me As I can't do it for myself. Well you take the steps needed Or just put me on a shelf? So when you walk by me Please look me in the eye. If it would come down to it Would I live or die?

I think its normal my hannah has them fall out sometimes its just part of moulting

You know you live with a grey whene, He or she is the first one you say Hi to whene you come in the door

I have a rope ladder to the top of my cage but Hannah dont use it much she just climbs up the cage like it was nothing at all.

Thats how we taught Hannah The andy griffith theme song, we would play it on the computer twice a day about 5 times in a row

whene my hannah Bo is out during the day she sometimes will unlock the feed bowl from outside then when i put her to bed at night she will slip back out of the cage , She thinks its funny cause she will laugh whene i find her.

I just hope it becomes a habit with her.

Ive been having trouble with my Hannah Bo going in her cage at bed time, First I go to my Cockitiels cages and cover them up and say good night to them, then i go to Hannahs cage and tell her its bed time its time to go in the cage. for a long time its been a fight to get her to go in , but the last two nights she has just went in no problem , I hope it lasts.

Cocoa is a beautiful bird

Sounds just like my Hanna Bird, She sneezes , and she has picked up burping she knows it tickles me , makes me laugh, so she laughs.

I use newspaper also

My Brother sent me some pine nuts in the shell. My Hannah Bird loves them. That is all she would eat if I let her.

My hannah will get quiet certain times of the day and lift her foot up and nap for awhile

Whene i vacuum around Hannahs cage I always warn her by saying loud noise hannah, Yesterday my husband had the tv on too loud and she said Loud noise hannah bird., I also tell her Its ok hannah whene i have to move her cage, she has also picked that up in my voice , I think its so funny I laugh then she laughs also. I just love her, She also likes to call our dog pepper, she says wheres pepper hannah bird, she loves to put Hannah bird or hannah Bo in back of everything she says.
